Well this update came outta no where.

Not really but I don't blame you if you haven't been keeping up with the flop that is Lewdlab's latest game, Midnight Paradise
Basically that game flopped and he hasn't updated it in almost a year and had to come back to his first and only decent game to pinch a few more pennies by polishing it up and re-releasing it
An update is supposed to come for the other game after DoD, but I won't hold my breath

It happens during rendering. It is a bit complex to explain it here but here is an article you can take a look at.

Hey, I don't play MP so I don't know why so many people hate him for that but I've read that many times now, and according to his Patreon the last MP update was on April this year.

So what's the deal? His last update was a year ago or 6 months ago?

Well it flopped on FIRST release then he remade it since the navigation was trash in the initial release, but the game itself is actually really good. The MILF is 100% better than in DoD, looks more realistic and believable instead of exaggerated proportions to her physique. Also story wise it's progressed to a really good point and the MC is now taking over as he's corrupted her (not fully yet).

I've been waiting for a MP release over a DoD re-release but last I heard he is continuing MP after the Definitive Edition dropped (which just has) and expecting an update in November (at least that's what his Patreon post said).

Its not always readily obvious. I was comparing the images in the shop and it was only becoming apparent at high res and i thought this isn't a big deal, perhaps with those with 4k. Then i took a look at 'bathroom mom mirror' image comparison and ohboy...

Definite Edition in need of a 'Next time, definitely!' edition.

The old one works for most of the game. It's just a shitty walkthrough. I'd prefer one that actually explains the consequences of your actions.

And I don't get why it had to be "some pissed off". Literally every popular game here, no matter how loved or hated they are, gets leaked here in less than 30 minutes. As if the dev was expecting anything different in the first place.

Yup, Darksiders cracked steam version was out pretty much instantly too. If something exists on the internet someone else will copy it and make it available elsewhere, no point worrying about it or trying to do anything about it as whatever you do isn't going to change anything

There is still some noise in ep5 but its not that noticeable. As I said I will update the patch for ep4 and for its extras too. I've written a script so I can denoise images in batches, its not really a problem so if there is popular demand I could work on ep5 too but for now I don't think its necessary.

I wouldn't call it flop. Models in midnight paradise are way better than plastic models of dod. Only thing most people dislike about mp is sandbox, imho the story in mp is also better than that of mind controlling crap.
