Well the good news is that Lewdlab isn't afraid to post here, so perhaps the game can survive without Patreon on this and other sites. Of course, the budget will take a huge hit... so let's hope that Lewdlab can work it out with Patreon.
Lewdlabs could always just do 'fan art' on the Patreon if DoD needs to be pulled, with some 'nudge nudge wink wink' on forums such as this one to 'support my artwork so that I can focus on my game'.

I'm not so sure about the "public image" reasoning some have mentioned. The "Adult Games" flag already prevents the game showing up in general search on patreon. People would have to specficically go looking for it to find it. Hopefully Sin can do what Mr Dots did and just put anything patreon has an issue with behind a paywall and they let him back up.
