If so, does Definitive Edition lack the Alt Ending or any other stuff from 1.0.3, or why is the latter still being kept around?

Do I miss out on any stuff from the original game by playing the Definitive Edition?

Definitive Edition has all the stuff from 1.0.3 and new 500 renders and new 100+ animations and also Polished UI in the game.

no idea what the extras.rpa is for, but the patch.rpyc goes into the folder named 'game', i assume same for extras.rpa.
