While your view is a bit on the extreme side, I do agree with some of your points. For a visual novel making over $10k a month, the amount of bugs and spelling/syntax errors in this release is astounding. The developer is definitely falling into the same hole Wolfschadowe did with "Brad's Erotic Week" by getting bogged down with adding more characters and variables to keep track of. Also, sadly, the one release per month cycle is one of those things that while there is no concrete proof, when so many Patreon developers follow suit it does make you wonder how little they are working and how actively aware they are of taking advantage of those with deep pockets and low IQ's.
Again, this is an interesting concept for a game and it shows promise, but right now there's just no excuse for it being released in such a sloppy state and at such a slow pace.
