Could just be a corrupted download or something. Just delete, download from a different site, reinstall, try again.

Joking aside, I suspect a corrupted download or file install - Did you try a mod of some kind? I'd suggest a complete delete and try a fresh download and install.

If it happens again let me know (make a note of what steps you took).

No mods, just a download of the compressed version.

Redownloaded, deleted persistent files and it worked.

4,5 version, around 2,5 GB
4,9 version, around 1, 4 GB

and 4,9b is a little more than 700 GB from a source file of almost 13 GB...

Is it latter compressed version a bit too extreme?

The 4.5 Version I did the compression for, only the images were compressed, the video files were left intact. The 4.8 and 4.9 versions were done by someone else.

These will include compression of the video files - so that will account for the change in file size.

There is some male and female dom in the game but it's very light - and completely based on your choices, though it is an obvious choice

If your hoping for some hardcore penis belittlement, then this game will disappoint - but if you want a little light tapping / spanking and name calling then spending time with Melissa might be a good idea...

I cannot for the life of me branch into any other route, be it Kimiko, Cindy or Cassie. Louise is great, but I'd like to be able to see the scenes they seem to have in chapter 4, yet I keep being forced back into Louise's route.

There's an in-game walkthrough you can enable that will show you what route each choice can lead to, some routes are only on a 'non-supportive' of Louise choice (there's 2 occasions where this comes into play - the first is immediately when you 'wake up' after the club scene in ch1, whilst the second is if you chose to spend time with Louise (while she paints) during ch2)

I will be adding a screen inside the game that spells out the specific choices you need to get onto each route. This is something that will be available in the next update.

For context this was the complexity of the game at the end of 0.4.8. I have not yet updated it with the new changes from 0.4.9, 0.4.9b and what Im currently doing in 0.5.0.

Right, I have that enabled. After The Incident:tm: at the club, I picked the choice where I just had to hide it better instead of trying to reconcile, then spent the evening shagging Cindy while Louise was painting by herself. Still ended up stuck with her.

I managed to get the Cassie scenes (tippity top tier by the way), but I had to end things with Louise wayyy back when Sebastian tried to kiss her after the restaurant date, then refuse to share a bed with her at the beach house - there's a continuity error there by the way, if you're done with Louise and still accept to share the double bed, you both wake up as if you had sex the night before, like in Louise's route. Still drawing a blank on Cindy.

And by stuck with her I didn't mean in the sense of removing her from the story, I meant in the sense we were still (sort of) happily married, still.
