I'm using a plugin from UE4 marketplace as a basis with some of my own stuff ontop. I will have to do some additional tweaks to the shader to get it to look more natural and sexy, because it is a bit dull as is.

You're probably using the one I'm going to use. I remember when NeoFur was on the marketplace but they were bought out at some point. It's a shame - nothing quite came close to it.

Yeah. Too bad they've discontinued NeoFur by some reason. Oh, well, nothing we can do.
I hope Epic devs will make a built-in fur shader at some point. What they are doing with the new hair system is pretty badass.

Love the cyberpunk aesthetic! Also, +1 for not using the Daz3D models! Looks great, and excited to see more of the parts come together.

Fluid Simulation research :) Check out the !

A cumshot in a realtime 3d game is quite a challenge. Here you can see a fluid simulation made in a 3d app and then imported into Unreal engine. It works surprisingly good and fast :) It seems like a way to go for cumshot scenes, though it takes way too much time to do simulation tests with my current PC build.

More likely the Demo of the game will be released with an old lame cumshot design, and some time later I will make an update with fluid simulations in place.

Have you heard of FLIP Fluids? It's a plugin for Blender (though it seems like you might be using Maya?) - It uses the FLIP simulation technique that Houdini uses. If you're using alembic export for your fluid sim (and using blender), you might want to give it a check.

Also, have you heard of Wild Life? The developer uses physics to create a sort of real-time cumshot effect with decals. It's not as realistic, but it's more flexible, and takes less disc space. You can see it in action here:

You show lots of progress - keep it up, bro.

Yeah, I am using Bifrost for simulations. I always wanted to learn Houdini both for rigging and simulations, but it would take so much time I simply can't justify doing it.

Thanks for the link. I see Wild Life has a lot of freedom in the sex scenes. Their cumshot solution is perfect for this particular case :)

My sex scenes are very scripted (for the lack of a better word). My goal is to capitalize on that, and I think fluid simulation would be a good fit. Though I still have to do a lot of research to make it happen. Everything I have is a disjointed R&D here and there, but nothing close to a final product yet, hehe.

By the way, Adeptus Steve from Wild Life is a really cool dude. He'd helped me at some point with an issue in Unreal I was stuck with for a long time :)

Watched the gif, the camera is good, the repeated motion looks fine.

The 3 slight oddities which will probably be fixed later. (

The bodies seem slightly odd, I can't tell if it is lighting/shadows or just not much detail on them. Slightly fuzzy/smooth looking (using HD). Might just be inherent in the art style though.

Guessing the sex scene is just a tip job. This is not a critique, just a suggestion, for future characters, maybe some lips that grip or girls who froth up?

The penis, showing a vein or so is fine, but why does he have 3 or 4 major ones that look like they got injected with some corruption that will destroy the land?

I guess the last thing I would hope for later is, more personal sex scenes. By this I mean, kissing during sex, looking into the eyes, suckling, holding tightly together, different positions where hands are more than just on hips. Also more both sides being active.

Overall looks good, no weird animation breaks, camera is probably one of the best in these types of games so far. Keep banging it out... sorry on the pun.

I think it is a combination of the video compression and depth of field. In terms of details, there is a lot going on actually :)

There is a bit of that if you look closely. I will try to increase the effect, but it is easy to break the mesh / model with these manipulations. My models are still "lowpoly" compared to what you see from those guys who make animations for videos, not for games. They have unlimited polycount, while I have to think of optimization :(

Ye, good call, I'll adjust the texture a bit to make it less prominent!

I have the same ideas in the matter of fact. It was the goal, though I was so caught up with everything else (so much work to do!) and drifted away from it a bit. The sex scenes now are nice I think, but I am still learning and there is room for improvement, hehe :)

By the way if you guys know artists who make really good and warm and personal sex videos / animations, feel free to send me a link via DM or smth, I might be able to pick up some tricks and learn from the experienced :)

With the scene shown, it is more on the abdomens/chests where there is that kind of fuzzy oddity. However like you said being low poly combined with the depth of field, compression, light/shadow all making it slightly look that way.

I personally don't know any off the top of my head, however I know there are a bunch of things shown on pornhub which normally have links to names, so you could probably find through that, or watch things like Nubile films, etc to get ideas for how scenes would play out.

Ye, alright, if nothing goes terribly wrong, we will release the Demo before the middle of August (I like to call it a Prologue because it contains a sizable chunk of the story).

Y-day, I did a few test builds, fixed some glaring errors, and the game actually works as a standalone application, which makes me happy, haha.

Do you guys have ideas or advice on reaching a broader audience with this Demo release? A lot of effort went into it, and I don't want it to flop, because I have overlooked something :)

Well of course the basics.

Here. Reddit on wherever will take it, be it unreal dev place or nsfw games. Patreon of course (see if you can make friends with other patreon devs to shout each other out, of course the larger the dev the better)

An aggregation site like svscomics or whatever they are called.

Without knowing the story/tags, I can't suggest TGgames or Hypnosis collective (the first is for games where someone in it transforms, be it mentally or physically, the second is big on hypnosis stuff)

Maybe you can get a streamer to pick it up on goohshi (think of it like porn game streaming platform)

If you have a way to hide sex scenes and the like, maybe even some twitch/youtubers would pick it up to show it off, or some major gaming reddits like pcgaming, or /r/games

A steam page maybe

The banners here recently changed but every few months they vote up new games to be on the front page banner, maybe yours can get voted up after it comes out.

I am pretty sure there are some more furry dedicated places you could throw the game too. Like Fenoxo's forums (The team that makes Trials in Tainted Space, and Corruption of Champions)

Find anywhere you can to spread it, but make sure to try and point the people who will see it to a coalesced area like a discord server, a patreon, etc. Since you probably won't be popping into 30+ forums to update them all each time.

If you do have a patreon, try and not make all the posts behind paywalls. It really sucks to go and see how a game is doing and seeing 30 posts you can't read, and all the titles are just dates or something. Sure download links and sex images behind the paywall, but safe for work or just general updates and changelogs should be viewable to all.

Also remember to put specs for the game. Being you are Unreal, it will be much harder on systems than the ren'py games that people are used to playing.

Yeah, it is kinda annoying for me too when I want to see what other people are doing, how they are progressing, and turns out everything is locked. On my page I try to keep stuff visible as much as possible, but more often than not I have to hide posts behind the paywall, because nudity :/

Good idea. I am optimizing the game so it runs smooth on ultra settings on my relatively old PC. I'll include my specs as recommended hardware, and when I gather some information about performance on less powerful machines, I'll be able to include some info on a minimum hardware requirement.

As for voice over, I have plans for that, but right now I can't spend time and money on that. However I really want to have at least sex scenes fully voiced, so it will happen sooner than later :)
