More like illusion of choice to me. Different clicking order but always pointing to the same result with at most couple different sentences (being loving or dominant over girls). The only real difference I remember is having (or not) evidence that one spoiled kid is doing coke but not sure if there is variable for that in code or just different dialogues.
In general, I think the main plot COULD diverge more, but so far we have what is essentially a kinetic novel with variations of flavor. Which, frankly I'm cool with. The best adult games I've played were fairly linear with dialogue and love interest options.
In case anyone sees this who has not played. The main options, as of now are:
Each female student has or will have a Blackmail or Love route. From my understanding, this is a one-time binary choice that defines your overall goal toward a girl. Are you looking to control/dominate a girl, or love/support?
Secondary options are Corruption or Love:
There will be moments when you can act in a way that makes a love interest more corrupt/kinky, or more loving/pure. There are three scene variations for each girl for the main sex scenes. Corrupt/Love/Neutral. To unlock a specific path, you need 10 points in it. If you have equal points Corrupt/Love, you get the Neutral scene.
These options are not always related to sex. For example, one such option is if you allow students to smoke or not.
A girl with more corruption may be more open to sex in a situation or place that is risky, for example.
The DEV seemed to indicate that specific kinks will have their own variables as well.
