It's not exactly like that. It's just the MC's conscious choices (such as choosing whether to rape or not, whether he wants to blackmail LIs or go down a romantic route and the like). That is, having the option of the MC following an evil path or following a less evil path. It isn't that after an election something bad happens that the MC didn't expect, in that case there is no pleasure in getting it right and there is a lot of anger in failing. In addition, the NTR is one of the things that I prefer to be deactivated and not have the option of it happening. You're weird.
I take ZERO pleasure in knowing something terrible exists if I pick the wrong choice. That's like saying, "You know, if my sister would have opened that door, she would have been raped. Glad she opened the right one, but I'm glad it was possible "
Exaggerating of course. But yeah, if NTR is avoidable? cool, I'm still probably not playing the game. I don't take pleasure in choosing for the girl that loves me to be a cum guzzling "whore" in another door. No thank you!
Didn't know that was a kink until now. The more you know *rainbow arching across the forum*
Using examples:
The MC sees how some guys are going to rape a girl, he knows that he can prevent it if she acts. Then you can choose: Wait (seeing or not seeing the rape or whatever he want to do) or act and avoid it.
The MC accompanied by his sister / friend / partner has to choose, without knowing what is going to happen, if he goes upstairs or waits. If he waits nothing bad happens, but if he goes up some gang members / enemies / whatever they are, they ambush them and after beating him they rape the MC's sister / friend / partner.
The MC receives compromising reports/photos/videos from one of the LIs, making him choose whether to: Blackmail her and follow a route to corrupt her and make her her sexual pet, or help her by avoiding extortion and follow a romantic route with her.
After a long day the MC can choose whether to go home directly or take a long walk. If he goes home directly he prevents something bad from happening (strangers attacking/raping one of the LIs, a neighbor, a dog, whatever you prefer). If he takes the walk, he arrives just to see how the strangers escape (with possibly the scene of the event on screen while the MC calmly walks through the park or wherever)
Choosing the good option in examples 1 and 3 is what pleases me. In examples 2 and 4 choosing the good option is not rewarding, but choosing the bad option is annoying.
