yep this is what elevetes it for me as well, there was another game with witch had some similaritys with this, it was more closely related to the italian mob style, however as choice for his music the dev put, w8 for this, some C, yes not B, but C quiality rap songs, so imagine playing through that game witch had beautiful renders nice setting, with some noire mobster modern setting, nice black suites and all of a sudden the C quality rap song starts poping off, it riped you right out of all the imersion that you were in, well not in this one the music FITS the tone of the setting of organized crime with a higher behavior ethics and codes compared to your average thug gangs, but still bloody and dirty when shit hits the fan, with an MC on the EDGE of mental sanity, LOVE IT!

i will say that the fem protag tag is very well deserved, when Sophia did her first apearence i though "good job dev, is a porn game, it needs porn, this girl will do for now, while we wait for the college girls" ooh, how wrong i was, if MC is a Badass of Dante´s level, Sophia is fking Bayonetta, sure she fk with MC left right and center, and have a tendency to cry, but her story is good and performing a surgery while doing a transfusion of her own blood to the patient?? what a fking legend a well deserved female protag only for those 5 min, the game used to be about the girls from college, but Sophia and Ava introduction changed the script and give MC a deeper background, all while introducing tons of sex scenes, that didnt feel forced or out of place, since Sophia is pretty much MC wife number 1 and Ava will be wife number 2, guessing those two are going to be the only 2 characters that are gonna be auto include in the harem... unless dev kill them in the future... and then we kill the dev, fair right? fair xD...
While I agree the writing in the prologue was not the best, trust me it gets better. Also, don't read too much into his rash actions, keep in mind, he is showing signs of some form of schizophrenia(likely brought about by a tragic event and it's aftermath, which is explained later) and people like that are not known for sound judgement. The two "personalities" start off completely against each other. As the game progresses, they start to coalesce back towards equilibrium with each other, eventually maybe he heals enough that the two become one again, we will see.
