Public Update v0.12.0

Hey guys! What's up?!
Phew! Special thanks to all the Patrons. Your feedback helped a LOT in fixing some stuff. Especially regarding the Android build. By the way, I've made some adjustments regarding the last scene with Julie. Made a better transition from the dinner scene to when Jasmin shows up at the door. Also added a few events that'll increase Jasmin and Julie's love points, and updated their LI pages. If you've played v0.11.9, it's NOT NECESSARY to download again and replay the update. Everything will be adjusted when you play the next update automatically! :)
Today, we get the public update. But for next Saturday I already have a lot to show on our next weekly devlog! :D

For those who didn't see the last post:

This update was a BEAST to work on! Honestly, I'm exhausted in the best and worst ways possible. I'm really proud of how much work went into this update, and I've learned a ton, but I definitely need some quality sleep after spending months obsessing over every little detail and planning what's coming next. I'm gonna be honest here, I'm not 100% satisfied with it. But I've delayed enough. And since this is early access, things might still change a little.

But damn, I'm so excited to hear what you all think! Your input helps make the game better, so don't hold back!

About the update itself - honestly, I've lost count of how many scenes are in this thing. We're talking around 1000 renders and 12 animations. It's probably 2-3 hours of gameplay, though it could be more or less depending on how fast you read.
Anyway, enough talk - here are the mirrors!

2-3 hours of gameplay? who is that based on lol? the slow guy with a dislocated finger at the play-doh factory?

Just a quick (possible?) error in a line here:

Guessing that should be the Pack. Since he's currently a member of the Pack and fighting against the Herd? Or maybe I don't remember some backstory from previous releases.

Can one look up the patron codes somewhere? A quick search didn't show anything, especially nothing up to date.

Just a quick typo in a line here:

I've just finished replaying the Prologue and there is an explanation just about that, I'm pretty sure. I think they were ONE and split after a struggle or something like that.

Uhh, 2–3 hours of gameplay ? That’s surprising. I didn’t time myself or anything, and I didn’t skip anything in the update, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t get anywhere near that long. So that claim feels kind of strange to me.

Maybe the dev originally planned for it to be longer, or maybe he just misjudged how long the update would actually take once everything was put together. Could also be he were thinking of the total playtime of the whole game (main part), which would make more sense. No idea, really.

Personally, this update felt pretty short to me. I couldn’t say for sure if it’s shorter or longer than the previous ones, though. Looking at my saves, I’d say it took me about an hour, maybe an hour and a half tops, and that’s while taking my time.

I’ve also noticed some inconsistencies in the dialogue. Sometimes they’re called the Wolves, the Pack, or the Wolfpack. It’s not always clear, and I think the same thing happens with some of the other old mafia groups as well. Still, according to the game’s replay gallery, the official name seems to be Wolfpack, so I’d suggest sticking with that.

The Herd is the mafia group that the MC and the Wolfpack broke away from. They were behind the previous war that led to the death of Ingrid, the MC’s pregnant girlfriend. She was part of the Germans, a group that was wiped out by the Herd if I remember correctly. Right now, it’s the Russians and the Wolfpack who are on the brink of war, even though tensions between them have been rising for years.

Can we get a MEGA download option for season 1?
Every other choice comes with a russian roulette addition, that seem to sneak quiet little viruses when I click the download icon, sometimes repeatedly

Now that you've said it I remember that. I knew something was itching the back of my brain that I wasn't remembering clearly.

Yeah, so he came up in the Herd, but broke off later. So not a typo/inconsistency. Just my old-ass brain failing me.

I don’t really remember the context of the line you posted. Was it when the MC first joined the Herd, or when he was trying to leave that life behind to be with Sophia and Ingrid ? If it’s the latter, then it should be the Wolfpack, so that would be a mistake.

From what I understand, the Herd is supposed to be the first mafia group the MC was involved with before moving on to the Wolfpack, which, like him, broke away from them.

I also get the impression he was part of a gang before getting into the mafia, probably back when he still lived in his neighborhood with his sister. She died, if I’m not mistaken, and I think they spent a lot of time on the streets. I don’t have all the details straight, so maybe I’m wrong about some of that.

If you go through all the dialogues in the prologue and main story, you’ll notice some errors and inconsistencies, especially with the mafia group names switching around. Overall, some details aren’t always very clear and the dialogue isn’t always polished, but the story itself is fairly straightforward.

Im liking this game but I think thid yould be cataloged as a VN, the choices that this game offers are counted and we don have any kind of control besides the oce upon a time "love" or "corruption" options besides that and all the tags that I think no longer are correct. To me this game is very good but I fear the future of Ava and her past.
