This game is missing that special BBQ sauce that made their last games unique and special. All the scenes feel so soulless and cookie-cutter. It's like watching some cheap amateur cash-grab porn on pronhub. But I guess that is exactly the intention the author had in mind when he wrote the story...
Hi, the dev itself as explained that this game was supposed to be a quick story that he had written for fun, the reason being that he himself moved to Kabukicho and wanted to write a story on the side with just 30k characters, and ended up writing one with double that. So anyone that prefer the usual BBQ games and/or don't want to play a side short game really should not play.
On a side note I am quite excited with their next release, as I very much enjoy BBQ games but I have always found myself a bit sad with the lack of flavour the main characters and heroines had with things going on, or that have gone on in the game.
By that I mean if an event had happened that should change the way they interact in the future, but they just act the same and those game tend to lack any genuine interaction between the characters with just some few dialogue repeating indefinitly, never changing.
That being said I really enjoy the mechanics they tried, and their artstyle in previous works was top notch for me.
With that being said, have great day.
