sorry to hear that. You can play on 'bookworm' difficulty to not bother with it much. Why do you dislike it? Is it because of implementation or you just don't like turn-based systems in general?
my comment was a bit curt, so i'll stress again that i really do like the game otherwise, and it is actually quite engaging overall
but for the combat, i think there are a lot of things which are unclear with it: positioning system is a bit unclear for one, as well as the difference between using stomach/uterus/etc for an attack (even though you can see the numbers change, i don't remember seeing why you should e.g. priotise gaining mana in the uterus vs. anything else), and the reason i think this is a problem is that it is easy to get blindsided and killed, because there is no option to heal or run (i'm not saying you should add these options), so if for example the player takes damage by grabbing the crystal without the pickaxe, then fails the agility check, you are down quite a bit of health already, so it is essential that all the battle mechanics are at least very clearly understood, otherwise you just wonder "how come I can't hit with a higher damage attack when I'm going to get killed in a few turns"
It may just be that this is not fully developed yet, or maybe it is my fault that I have misread the system or did not pay proper attention. It was the one thing that made me slightly frustrated.
