Why is the artist for this project complaining about needing more money to hire another when you make $10k a month on Patreon? Are you just blowing it all on coke, hookers and the 3d models the artist paints over? Even assuming that there's two devs (artist and lead game dev) attached to the project, and you're splitting the income 50/50 (highly unlikely) you'd both be earning around the $1000 mark p/week (ignoring Patreon% and assuming you're declaring this income as taxable)
Lemme see your quarterly fiscal report, how much of the project's earnings is going into profits versus re-investing in development, or have you gotten greedy in your success?
Where are you getting 10k from, their patreon is a little over 6k and subscribestar isn't even at 100$.

Wish it actually was 10k, then I wouldn’t be complaining lolz. Also it’s not even 50/50, we have additional people like writers and promoters. Overall I make $5/hr, a total of less than 1k per month after taxes so it’s not really a comfortable life but modest say the least. Still not enough to hire extra help with the art though.

Why am I making these edited saves?


Combat in the game is too slow—waiting for enemy and ally turns takes too long.
Fights don’t present any challenge to the player, even on "Champion" difficulty.
On medium difficulty, throughout all my playthroughs, I have never used a single healing potion or food item. They are unnecessary since health is fully restored after every battle.
I’m not saying combat should be turned into Dark Souls, but I would like to have some challenge.

Suggestions:

  1. Add an option to speed up combat (2x/4x/8x) in the game settings.
  2. Make combat slightly more challenging so that it's not just about waiting for your turn but at least requires using healing 1-2 times per fight.
    2.1. How to make it harder? Remove instant health regeneration after battles—let it recover gradually instead.
    2.2. Reward players for losing fights. If they somehow get defeated, even a single comic-style slide would be better than just a defeat screen. This could encourage players to spend more time in the game (not just one slide for all enemies, but unique ones).
    2.3. Reduce the number of healing items by 1.5-2 times—they are too abundant, even on medium and high difficulty.

This way, players who just want to see H-scenes or the story can still enjoy the easy difficulty.
At the same time, fights won’t take 5-7 minutes just waiting for turns.

Fights don’t present any challenge to the player, even on "Champion" difficulty.
I'm planning to do a overhaul of MC's progression(like new skills etc) so I will look into rebalancing fights after that too. Now it's a bit of waste of time.

Are you sure you played on medium difficulty? Auto Heal only occurs on Bookworm difficulty.

sorry i dont know much about this stuff, how do we use that to modify the allure value? and thank you for the save

EDIT: Struggling to find it in save editor, I can't seem to find >3o>30 i dont seem to see 30 under 3o

EDIT2: I messed around with stuff and got it, thank you again!
