"Dual Family" was my introduction to VNs; (M/s and F/d incest are my kinks of choice, and a 3D comic with the Dual Family characters lead me here) When first played it / read it I assumed the dev was legit, was even a patron for a time. Since then I've learned! The thing is, though, that I fucking love the mother character's look. Very real, very Kay Parker from the old school porn movie "Taboo". She just revs me up...which means I'm always curious if any progress ever gets made on this VN

So I drop in from time to time out of morbid curiosity. I thought I knew everything about Dual Family but have to admit I've never seen these video snippets before. Did you say these are included in the game's code but never "activated"? Are there more?

Same, I've always loved that the mother looks like a realistically moderately-attractive mother, and not some bimbo or beautiful model.

With regards to finding them: I can't remember what goes where, I downloaded all DF repos and extracted the RPAs into a single folder.

What you won't find in raw video form are the strung-together scenes and dialogue which do exist in the code. To activate them you have to hack the python to get it to trigger the scene upon game load, etc.

okaaaaayyy. But son w/Karen content is not why many people want to suffer through this thing. It's the mother and daughter characters that they want to see get it by the son and the father MCs. It's why they've been holding out hope for 6 years. And there's no verifiable content in any of the versions that give them the content they seek. They want more than 2-second loops that aren't just files in the directories, but not in the playthrough. They want more than the developer's drug-induced coding of the dreams of either of the MCs.

Yeah, all female characters in this are the reason play. The Aunt weaves a dangerous web. In the son storyline if you choose to butt fuck her manipulitive ass she will “repay the act”. Either she is going to rape the Son in his bedroom or she gonna pull something at the dance.

I have not toured this thread for a very long time and I see that the game has passed to version 1.22 when I think I remember that before it was in version 1.08. I honestly have no great hope about great advance (after all, Kyle is Don Milking), but I have to ask it: What is the "progress" of the game?

For example, has there been any advance on the Son route after the dance with his Mother in their living room? And on the Father route, which I think ended up finding Karen, who confessed him the truth of the previous compromising situation between Son and Mother?

Now, after it, I can’t normally perceive the rest of the visual novels and, apparently, I will never see at least the end of the platonic stage of the son/mother and father/daughter relationship, given that in 6 years the game is not ready for more than two-thirds. I don’t even know whether to be sad or happy that I stumbled upon this wonderful game.

Probably if I paid money for this game (more precisely for a piece of the game that will never be completed), then I would have behaved the same way. It's just that I didn't pay anything, and haven't waited for 6 years for the content that is currently available, so I have a simpler attitude towards the game, if it was completed it would be the best visual novel I've played. But unfortunately exorbitant ambitions buried a worthy project.
