As you know Dual Family is updated almost every month before Patreon decides to take action against games of this theme.

You are looking for a reason where there isn't one.
Firstly, gumdrop does not associate game delays with the rules of patreon, he always finds more stupid excuses.
Second, (as others have said you before) look at games like Milfy City, Parental Love, Ecchi Sensei - (loli incest), F.I.L.F. and many other games on patreon. Everyone has already learned how to circumvent the rules of patreon without losing the original content.

Over the past two years, I've been humbled by your ongoing, constructive support. 2017 was a year of bite-sized updates filling up Act I, but the one and a half month development cycle kept the story airborne, on the mind. 2018 saw the release of Part IX, a fairly larger installment at the edge of March -- the development of Part X swallowing the remaining year into void. One would hope that every hour, every minute of that time was perfectly optimized, however I cannot claim such persistence. Scope creep, stacking plates; spreading oneself thin became far easier without the cleated boot of a brief development cycle pressed against the throat.
While I've far by now realized a leaner development cycle is more fulfilling, focused than one on the lengthier side (hence the return to lean dev cycles for Act II), I've maintained my mission stated last year. Part X, the finale to the first act of Dual Family, will not be released until it is a completely finished, polished installment.
To be frank, it's certain that a lengthier development cycle have diminishing returns -- that eventually the expectation, the hype balloons to such an extent even a holy grail could be met with mere amusement. That said, I have no qualms continuing my commitment to absolute completion, nothing short. Teenage thrills, romantic chills, action-packed sets, rigorously animated sex; if there's something worth waiting for, I imagine it's a doll-eyed gal with a halfway smile.

Is it just me or did gumdrop really once again not state a date for part x, instead just giving out some renders and more assinine excuses he pulled out where the sun does not shine? Now he wants to go back to 6 week intervals for Act 2 (yeah right, for those who still believe him), oh bully!
He rarely kept these intervalls back in 2017/18 going over to the very long Jan 2019 interval (which this self-censored still could not keep!), so he could release in time. A date he blew once again despite with so much time he had! That he is going on about Act 2 seems to be him running out of excuses. Well, his excuses were always on the assinine side once you recognized his scam, but him blowing the Jan release was going a bridge too far with his milking scheme, it seems. He dug this hole, now he has to get out, but time is burning on his nails.
Im am convinced outside his pretorians, even the well-meaning patrons got to be pissed by now. It is nearly a year since the last update and a truckload of broken promises and lies filled that year.

Lol no, he doesn't change the incest theme at all. He writes it the same way, just instead of writing mom he writes [insert relationship name here] and then it will be the relationship you choose at the beginning of the game. He writes it knowing you will choose mom like he's been doing for the past updates, he writes the mom as the MCs mom he just makes you choose to call her mom so he can keep the game on patreon, no incest themes are removed. I started this game at the beggining of the year, right now I'm about to leave aunt's house in son's story line and I really need to say:

This game is soo hard/slow to play, the dialogues are soo annoying, all dialogues are about MC being a sarcastic jerk or MC trying to be deep and emotional, really to much deep and emotional to be credible, the entire family feel so shitted up that it's not even interesting to actually discover what is happening there, most of the times all the characters feel so over reacted in their intended roles and the story jumping from a secuence to another doesn't help to make the story clear or even something kinda logic to follow. But the worst thing is: what are those weird camera angles? Really, you can never have a clear picture about what the hell is happening in the scene. I understand the idea of not showing MC's face, I already saw this in Dream of Desires and it TOTALLY worked for my, but the guy doing this game doesn't know how to do it, to be honest I feel like the guy doing the images doesn't want to do a proper job, I mean, every time I see an image with 75% of the wall/flor/roof and maybe a 15% of the actual face of the other person you are talking... it's hard to think otherwise. I really can't play more than 20 minutes per day

Now, I'm still gonna play it until the end and the play the father's route because I do think this game could get better if I keep playing, I'm mostly in to the wincest and the mother looks amazing so good job on the characters. I really wanted to say how bad I think this game is right now but I'm whining here instead of whining in the rating/reviews because I do want prove myself wrong and be able to give this game a good ranking/review in the future
