You are literally doing more work than the scammer
, with far fewer resources.Fan artists should help convince people of how embarrassingly obvious this scam is. Anyone who has ever used DAZ knows he is a scammer, but people who don't know should begin to grasp how indefensible the scam is (that is, he has done NO work for the last 2 years, he is not "milking", he has abandoned the project). On top of it, this poor excuse of a game had no branching to begin with.

Sure something happened. He realized the gig is up. Nobody new is going to support his scam and old patrons are dropping out. No point in making the effort to post new content.
Some may believe he's hard at work on Act I Part X and Act II Part I, but it's dubious. A lot of time passed and he had a lot of opportunity to learn DAZ and get new assets, so if he's doing any creative work, it will be impossible to tell from his art style. He would obviously assume a new identity on Patreon and would be creating a completely different game to throw us off.
I suspect he may have moved on after making over $226 grand on Patreon.

I don't since I don't like wasting my money but when he misses this latest release date does anyone think his braindead audience will finally get a clue that he's just stalling?
I won't be wasting any money on this scammer, either, but from what it looks like from the first couple of words, condrop is presenting a schedule of posts he's going to make over the next two days. So he's announcing that there's going to be an announcement about animation progress and an announcement about Part X release date.
I realize you have to be an idiot to give him any money in the first place, but right now, it's not even stalling, it's downright insulting. If there are people who bear with him, well, I'll just figure the guy discovered a gold mine.
One thing's for certain. He wants to keep the money going. I seriously thought he's going to just give up on scamming people, and will shut up forever, but it seems he doesn't.
Disclaimer: There's a tiny, like a fraction of a thousandth per cent, chance the guy is sincere about wanting to finish the game and he's feeling genuinely bad about his incompetence, procrastination and laziness, all while not pausing his patreon nor stating up front he's having problems. But that's silly. If he was having problems, with $10,000 a month, he could have commissioned artwork and kept coding. Heck, he could probably commision artwork, code, sound and music and still keep over five grand each month. The game would be finishing by now and he would likely be making over $50,000 a month by now.

BTW: A few days ago several chads claimed that he probably broke down after adding the abandoned tag here. As I predicted, he is not going anywhere. This forum means nothing to him. Deal with it.
For your own sanity, I advise you to just forgot about this game. Once he releases an update (he probably will, sooner or later, because it will be profitable for him) you can go back to the discussion. At current point it is... pointless.
