Until people quit infinitely paying Patreon bux to developers to financially incentivize them drip feeding the lowest possible effort updates, this kind of stuff won't stop. It's super obvious the dude just realized he enjoyed living his life off coomer dev welfare more than actually finishing a game, just the same as a dozen other successful projects where the content faucet started to turn real dry once they broke past making a living wage while sitting on maintenance mode. Why finish the game when people are paying you to not finish it?
