Its a pattern in their games.
MC is the guy that believes in purity and shit like that and that sex is something to be done after marriage with the woman you love. So for him to get any actions he must marry the girl, and that will be a late event in the story. The goal is to protect your choice until the end so that you can get the happyending even if it's something that happens only in his head.
I also despise this trope or whatever you call it, and the other men in the game don't share the same narrowminded view of MC so there is no problem in getting the girls.
TL;DR: If you came here hoping of plenty H scenes with MC and some quick action, never play the games of this developer again.
I played Leane 1 and 2
1 was underwhelming both in gameplay and story
2
was way better in both ways, even though the story was dumb, it was miles better than 1 and dungeons and bride in story wise
on the gameplay side I would say that both are good in their way,
Leane2 is a strategy gameplay with management on the side, it loses on the balance of the game (it's either too easy or troops inflation), some mechanic like the babies born being RNG and the prisoner system being very weak on both side
Dungeon and bride is a dungeon crawler with great maps thinking (not just spacious maps without reason, though there's exceptions like the vulcan part) has good mechanics in the map exploration and fight (the progress of tile bridge, levitate, swimming, boat, staircase), it loses on the story
too many times I found myself lost in how to progress the main story
my second complain is about one of the main atraction of the game "Quests", for an adventure type there should be way more quests imo, in fact they should be the way for me to find progress in the story, but there's a lack of them in some parts of the game
my take is for example Rance Quest base game has over 150 quest to do, this one has around 50, I know I'm comparing a product of a well established company Alicesoft agaisnt a smaller company, but it doesn't change that it shows where it could had been improved the whole experience
