It's most likely just a pretty pisspoor translation, referring to the cache of poison resistant gear you can find not far from that boss. In the entire main story/1st campaign there isn't a character called (or acting as a) Shadow Merchant.

That happens pretty commonly when windows blocks the save file from being created. Either you have your game installed in a no-no folder (search the internet about windows protected folders) or defender is being a bit overprotective. Hop on to defender > threats protection > protection history, then see if a related file is blocked there. If there is, allow it and then save.

The work on uncensoring Danero Reboot is now complete and will be released with the Steam version. Danero Plus was next in line. Work was also underway on a completely new game that he planned to release before Danero 2.

Jeezus christus on a cracker. I wish him the best, but I work in medical and this isn't something you unfortunately jump back from, especially depending on his age and the original reason for the hemorrhage. But in general, brain and heart hurts are the worse as they don't really heal in the traditional sense. He might be stuck with seizures or a dramatically increased risk of stroke.
Unfortunately, this does make me less optimistic he will be able to continue, though obviously it's not his fault or more important. Hopefully at least the reboot launches, I like his games but really dislike when devs walk up to the imperial palace to personally handshake the emperor and personally promise they will be a good law abiding citizen, then cesnor like 90% of every scene.
The real heroes are the guys who draw a 1 pixel line and go "whelp it's technically censored hue hue" and sadly not enough devs do that. Less with with dlsite going pycho now.

Yeah, back in the day in Japan, 18+ platforms generally weren't too strict about the types of the censorship, but in the last couple of years, sites like DLsite and Fanza just won't let your work go on sale if it doesn't meet the established censorship standards.

I completed this game last year but couldn't leave a review because of life retrains. I'm sorta back now and here are what i remember of this game:
I remember enjoying the animations a lot but completing the actual game was painful. Massive dungeons... Repetitious playstyle... Enemies galore with huge hitpoints... Spikes and traps everywhere.... Although, some BGMs were good most notably the boss one. I remember getting pissed off because you couldn't beat this game without getting assaulted. I always try to clear H-games without getting assaulted on my first playthrough (that's just my thing). The dialogues and cutscenes were wacky/entertaining to some point. The woman with short white hair wielding greatswords was my favorite character because she dealt the most damage. I wasn't a fan of the yellow hair woman tho..
I haven't opened the game since last year and just wanted to give a brief review here. So my final rating would be 3/5 for the animations, art and bgm.

Rusimarudou has been discharged from the hospital and is now at home, working on finishing the Steam version of Danero Reboot.
The estimated release date is scheduled for winter, although considering his health and possible unforeseen circumstances, I wouldn't rule out a few delays.

Yep, starting with Danero Reboot and going forward, rusimarudou intends to release his games on Steam without any censorship. He clearly realized how important this issue is for foreign players.
Also, the author mentioned that some time after the release of the Steam version of Danero Reboot, he plans to remove censorship from the Steam version of Danero Plus as well.
