That weapon is not for the story, that is for the true ending. If you really want it, don't worry about going for it yet until you've unlocked the weird door. (You'll know it when you see it.) Have you fought the South dungeon boss yet? (Remind me what environment you're in as well, because I remember what each dungeon looks like, but I get some of them mixed up when trying to match names with memories.)
Im assuming the (really) big boy robot without a healthbar isnt the boss in which case no
i dont recall the environment that well besides long hallways and the suddenly new robot types, lab theme maybe?

Okay, I know where you are for the most part I think. There should be a way to go further down and left, which is where you'll fight the boss. There should be an elevator of some sort you can use there. Make sure to check the map for spots without borders btw, sometimes they can be really small and hard to notice, but are vital to exploration and progression.

The DLC crowdfunding. Throw away your money if you have some to spare, especially considering the request scenes tier cost 3000 USD.

It's also possible to get the physical goods to be sent oversea if you purchase an additional 2500 yen course (roughly 17 USD) and send your shipping address in.

Also confirmed that there will be two DLCs:

DLC1 will focus on primarily expanding H-scenes especially for sub-heroines that didn't get a scene and dig deeper into their characters. Planned this December

DLC2 will add a new dungeon as well as finally answer/answer "the mysteries of this world" (as in, "we're finally going to actually write a background story in instead of vaguing it"). Of course, there will be h-scenes. Planned sometime early next year, around Spring.
Post-update adds the aforementioned request scenes.

How do you guys even manage to play this game comfortably? It's not one handed! Aaa all these platformer games that require two hands...
Eh maybe should switch out of olive oil tbh

Me personally, I just swap positions depending on the situation- it's a great way to train reaction time for some games.

I was speaking in a joking manner (though there was a fragment of truth to my statement, it was a half-truth at best), but are you genuinely struggling with the controls? I might have some suggestions if so.

In that case, I really do suggest you play two-handed since the H-Scenes are not embedded directly into the primary gameplay (and it'ss a Metroidvania, so having split focus in the first place isn't great, but if you absolutely refuse to do so for whatever reason, Nayla's Castle has 3 great templates on how you can remap your controls to be optimal for one-handed play.

hmm... remapping might be the way to go, shame the developer didnt create an option for it from the getgo.
I did play a bit more, and you're right that you can also clear an area first and then see the animations, though not sure if I am the biggest fan of such a disconnect
Either way, ty for your help

You're welcome. Just as a warning...you really might want to switch to two hands by the end. One of the bosses took a lesson from Gensokyo, it seems, so be ready for that. (That difficulty is probably why you can't play one-handed easily, because this is really just a platformer with the H-bits on the side...)

How do you open the door in the east ruins that says it's not powered? I've been hitting the green console you find earlier in the map but that doesn't seem to do it.

Edit: nvm, there's another green console if you go up from the door, left, up, right, and then all the way up and to the right.

This might be a dumb question but where can I find these last 2 items? I cleared all the chests and I've spent so long trying to find these.
