You didn't miss anything. It's a good animation. It's better than like 90% of the animations out there, it's just missing something they want "so it's bad." If other animators were this good on their first year of animation Hydra would actually have competition now.

I've already stated my favorite animators, 3dust is not one of them. I think they're a great up-and-comer and think anyone who tries to downplay a year's work of experience and putting out this sort of quality is delusional. Especially when we have animators like Grand Cupido who couldn't keep us from puking from bad camera work for nearly 8 months. (with years of experience)
