Unfortunately no, this update is 100% focused on the Anime Convention. I have a feeling that those who will discover the game with the next update will enjoy it a lot more since they haven't had to wait 3 months and won't feel like it's lacking new discussions in the despot/desktop phase, but I really hope you'll enjoy it nonetheless, even though it's very different from the usual!

As long as i get to see best girl Elaine i'm fine with that Although it's driving me crazy knowing that the update is mostly held back by engine issues... I hope they release a fix soon.
And i can't wait to see the next steps in phase 3. I have the feeling that's when things will get really good.

However, I'm interested in the lags you encountered. Can you tell me more about that? In particular:
- Your setup if you don't mind (GB of RAM, are you on SSD or HDD, your GPU and CPU. Keep it vague about what you don't feel comfortable sharing)
- How much it lagged. An estimate of time, for example 1 second between the moment when the grey screen appears and when the Despot page appears.

48 gb ram. SSD. 13th Gen Intel. Nvidia RTX 4060 Ti.
Despot opens and loads near instantly. It's when Despot closes and shrinks into the bottom left. Once it reaches the outlined size, it often freezes there for half a second.


Gallery spazzes out a bit. Rarely, it takes a few seconds to load each page. Most of the time it loads in one second, but stretches out the thumbnails, or for the Work pics, have them all in the second outfit and 4 copies of each image.



Edit: Checked Elaine and Anna galleries too. Same issues. But Elaine is limited to 2-3 copies, while Anna goes from 2-4 copies depending on the pic. All the images are of them in the second outfit.

It was supposed to be fixed in the r428 but sadly it wasn't completely fixed. I've made a new report and they confirmed they're working on it, so hopefully it's for the next patch!

Yes, I'm not quite finished yet anyway, so my guess is that they'll both arrive around the same time. + I'm not going to be idle waiting for the update when I'm finished, there's always room for more scenes while we wait!

From the developer's discord post, it sounds like the dev is only waiting for the engine update. It's close, y'all.

Hey, i'm glad you liked the game ! Sadly there won't be a french translation until the game is complete, I can't maintain two different version of the game at the same time

Update: Right now, the game is madly broken when you load your save, even with the engine patch that came out today. It's an engine issue, nothing I can really do on my end except providing as much details as I can to the engine team (which are extremly talented and responsive). I'm preparing everything they may need right now so that hopefully they can fix it for their next patch release that should be out next week.

In the meantime I'll try to find workaround, and consider the possibility of releasing the update by completely removing the save/load feature (for the whole game. No matter when you load your save, whether it's in the convention or in chapter 1, it will break everything at the convention). It would really annoy me because a new player would have to play the game in one go, otherwise they would have to start over every time (or at least start over from the starting points that I can include), which is really annoying. But It's still a temporary solution, let me know what you think about it.
