As far as we know at the moment 2.5 is the anime convention which will end chapter 2. The update after that will skip 2.6 and up and will be 3.0 since it starts chapter 3.But is 3.0 actually 2.6 or we are 5 updates away from a job update?
I'm very interested to see what the new job is in chapter 3 since I enjoyed the card game mechanic in CH1 since it was more interactive but I like the camera system in CH2 since we got more pictures, especially since we've been told that those pictures weren't just filler and everything they showed is canon to the story.
I'm hoping for a more interactive job with a good amount of pictures for CH3. Maybe something that gives the 3 girls modeling jobs since Avar is supposed to be their agent for that sort of thing and so far we've mostly seen any work coming from outside sources like Lucas.

The first number of the update is the chapter, the second number is the release number, so 2.5 means it's chapter 2 and it's the 5th update of that chapter.But is 3.0 actually 2.6 or we are 5 updates away from a job update?
Then it'll be 3.1, because it'll be the first update of the 3rd chapter hehe
I'd like a more interactive job for the chapter 3 too tbh, but it's kinda hard to find the right balance between “gameplay” and “story”. I wouldn't have had this problem if it was the very first chapter of a new game, because then I'd have made a game based on deeper gameplay (like what E-Thots was originally supposed to be, unfortunately I was too inexperienced to do something like that a year ago).
However, people are used to (and want) more story than gameplay, in my opinion, and that's only to be expected given the game's promise based on a year's worth of releases, and I'd hate to be that dev who promises you something and then changes it completely according to his mood.
But 2.5 will let us take the temperature a bit on the reactions of the players to a more interactive game, since the vast majority of it will be a "job phase" and not so much dialogue on Despot (though it'll be filled with NTR, don't worry about that hehe). We'll see if people hates it or likes it too !

Devs said not many people are interested in jobs, but I find them very intriguing specially if new content gets added, so here's hoping he's cooking something good.
Same. With the right escalation pace (not too fast, not too slow) jobs can actually be very interesting and bring some spice... specially if the girls end up going all the way (and MC clearly seems to be okay with them doing "stuff" for work, so i don't think it should be a problem for him)

Yep, I like them too. I like unlocking stuff, and the word search game that would lead to more options is cool. Exercising choice through the jobs was fun, I like optional scenes in my ntr game it definitely gives more of the corruption feel. Also I like how new outfits got you new scenes, and isn't just a skin.
I like the conversation y'all having, it is interesting. Makes me wonder if you guys aren't also devs too. And if not, you should be.
Not gonna lie, I've thought about making a game based on the books I'm writing (plenty of sex, also). But, the only engine that would ever do it justice is Unreal Engine, and that's an altogether different sort of beast.
A little, yes. He's still a dick to Morgane, but it's clearly just a front.
By the time I finished the current built, I was thinking to myself: "who hurt you, bro?"

It sounds like due some extra work needed because of the way the convention is going to work we're looking more at mid to late December.Okay can't wait for the coming update!

I dont get why people hate Avar so much. Whats he supposed to do be "the nice guy"? Hes got beautiful women around him, he's the head of a company and hes got options. Its easy to see why he's arrogant and naive because he is somewhat spoiled and immature. If you understand why someone acts the way they do its easier to accept them for who they are and not hate them. He is getting the karma he deserves anyway.

We're getting close to the update depending on how smoothly the remaining work goes, mid to late December could be as little as a couple weeks or the end of the month at this point. So since this update is pretty locked in does anyone have any hopes of things they'd like to see in Chapter 3 after the convention? I know a lot will depend on what happens in the next update but I'm sure people have their hopes.
For me I'd kind of like to see Avar gain access to either Anna or Elaine's texts as well, Morgane is the mean LI that's getting NTRed but it might be nice to see what else is going on without needing reasons for everyone to text Morgane about it. Not sure this is even a possibility but we'll see. If I had to pick just one of them then probably Anna for the interactions with "Daddy".

Anna for sure. She has the least amount of sexual content. Not saying dev needs to add an incest tag, but she defo needs more content. Elaine has some spicey content already in the jobs section, so more stuff outside of that with her would be nice too, but Anna should get priority here.
I'm (very) partial to Elaine, so i'd love to see more of her streams (and interactions with fans) and maybe either an extra job for her or extra events (you know, the ones you can schedule once in a while) in which she does... stuff.
