I doesn't always work that way, unfortunately ; but I'm glad it does for you, at the very least this time.a light goes out, but from it comes a new flame.
All my thoughts to you

Acting lessons reference? because its in poor taste and too soon... an yes it will always be too soon!tztzzz, no redheaded nurse at hand?
there is a workers shotness, so soon enough you will get a job! depends on your skills and what you want to work in!Keep it coming Hog ! I really need a little distraction now , a crappy night where I could not sleep, on top of this the news that one of my aunts died in the same night of cancer and last but not least a job rejection...
Yeah now that you mention it, every scene in this park in every VN started with the characters climbing down the stairs but with the "camera" facing the entrance and showing the outside, never showing the park from the outside road.Quick Daz lesson
When you work in Daz Studio, unless you have a super-powerful rendering machine, you work in "texture shaded" mode

I have an entire scene blocked out inside the park. I have quite a bit blocked out here at the entrance. There are MANY figure poses hidden in this pic, lots of work. You get kind of tunnel vision working sometimes so it wasn't until I did a test render.... View attachment 2487555
...that I realized the outside of the park asset wasn't finished off and was not intended to be shown.

What's the point of having a park with no entrance? This will potentially be the scene with the most renders in the prologue so I'm super pissed. Most of it takes place inside the park so it's salvageable, but the opening was really, really good. Now I have to rethink the beginning of the scene. Live and learn I guess. I did the original layout of this months ago while trying to layout all the scenes. I guess I just got in a hurry and wasn't paying attention. DamnitDamnitdamnitdamnitdamnit!
have you considered honey select? it seems to be more enviromentaly friendly way of creating a story!Quick Daz lesson

only if you want to spend waaaay too much time to not have all your guys look like japanese porn rejects. or don't mind it. and I'm not even sure assets are different. I'm pretty sure I've seen the same park in some HS game. or was it the one with benches and a tunnel? are they different parks? do other parks even exist?have you considered honey select? it seems to be more enviromentaly friendly way of creating a story!
That's the Haven Park asset for Daz made by Predatron ( plus sometimes devs add the forgotten park assets too, like the old dude statue that it's part of that set).only if you want to spend waaaay too much time to not have all your guys look like japanese porn rejects. or don't mind it. and I'm not even sure assets are different. I tried Honey Select before Daz. I could never get it to do anything but awkward sex scenes. The problem isn't Daz, it's the fact that some of the asset developers don't make all sides of an asset useable. It's like an old Hollywood western set, all fronts and no backs. There are TONS of cool houses and cottages....with no interior walls or doors that will open. Sometimes it's just finding the right asset, or in this case; noticing shit before you get too far down the rabbit hole.have you considered honey select? it seems to be more enviromentaly friendly way of creating a story!

BUT! Sometimes it's a good thing that I don't think like you humans do.....I mean "normal humans".....I'm human, really! at least I can pass for human most days....anyway....just like all violent sociopaths, I believe anything is possible if you hit it hard enough. Voila! View attachment 2487953
Yes, I know the plinths and lions are floating a little bit - this is "proof of concept" bitches! I have to make two renders and composite them, but it works. Only the first few renders will need this, so the rest will be single renders from inside. Lighting needs to be corrected as well.
The lamposts are actually quite short. I pulled them from another asset and need to adjust them. They're more like the lights someone might have in their front yard at their house.Oh me like it!
All in all it's a good render, the only thing that looks "strange" it's not the plinths and the lions, but the guy height.... I mean in comparison with the lamps he looks very tall... imho
But if it's only for two scenes it's ok nonetheless, I mean I don't know if he's a giant so it works for me.
Yeah I've read that other devs do the same, they combine different assets together to get the best or else it would be a nightmare and that's strange considering the assets should have everything available.
HS/HS 2 it's good if you have something like a workstation for the renderings or else..... Brrr... and I like HS/HS2 games a lot..
great work brother I am not surprised I knew you would have found a solutionI tried Honey Select before Daz. I could never get it to do anything but awkward sex scenes. Cool! Thank you for clarifying I wasn't sure about it, and to be honest, I quite liked the idea of a very taller characters as a concept, so it would have worked for me I really can't wait to know more about your game! The lamposts are actually quite short. I pulled them from another asset and need to adjust them. They're more like the lights someone might have in their front yard at their house.
I am becoming thoroughly perturbed at the rendering process. I'll get 3-4-5 renders quickly and easily then FROM THE SAME FILE they will either start taking much longer or just render black. I have to close Daz, use Task Manager to close a phantom background process, restart Daz, reload the file (which takes forever) then try again.
I'll make a WS version with all the hasty, early, screwed up shit in it since his advice is usually "don't worry about the quality, just release something!"for a later special WS-version you should keep them.
HEY, LOOKING AT YOUR FACE THAT IS CLEARLY WHAT YOUR FATHER DID... and you did not came out that badly!I'll make a WS version with all the hasty, early, screwed up shit in it since his advice is usually "don't worry about the quality, just release something!"
