For abandoned games it's way, way more common that the dev just ghosts everyone (but leaves the patreon up and active) than it is for them to do the responsible thing and post about it and properly shut down.

what can i say? in cases like this one of alien abduction the subjects are tested very hard with humiliating devices and in particular with mad koala the aliens went full trottle without any remorse or mercy.... pity! may he rest in peaces now....

MK said his IRL situation got busy in the discord. Having said that the no communication and milking patreon is just rude. The next update is apparently almost done but for some reason he wont release it. Maby he will come back sometime next year or something. But at this point he owes an explanation for his absence if he ever expects people back on his patreon
On Discord they confirmed that the game is not abandoned.

That is good to hear! But is there any sign of life from the dev? His last post on Patreon is still from april. And on SS he is still under review.

Im on the discord... the only thing that happened there was someone posted the progress from 2 months ago. It is at least temporarily abandoned. Until MK makes a statement and status update this is dead in the water

Nah that's still just words. Actions speak, so until there's a playable update.. here we sit.
I think considering how close the update supposedly was to being finished, all skepticism is justified, that's a massive red flag if I've ever seen one.

Only if you okey to seeing all paths, because even if you op out of routes the game will still show flashbacks of those encounters and act like it happened.
It's kinda a mess and the dev never fixed those things ...

This was the case of a very good visual artist who needed help with everything else .
He needed someone to take care of the flags and event programming consistently within the game, as well as someone to translate the game and any text that was out of place.
