Go right from the map containing the tutorial room. The path was blocked before, but it's open now.

I'm having trouble following some of the side quests. Two of them tell me to go to the "Cave of thirst" but I have no idea where that is. Also know some of my side quests are stuck but I also have no idea how to progress them because of no quest log. E.g. the scorpion one says I need to make some potion, there's crabs blocking me from investigating an area and I have no idea how to get rid of the crabs.

The cave of thirst is that cave next to the Water Dragon Palace. For the scorpion one, you need to find the scorpion in the desert and if you have already done that, just progress the bath events. Getting rid of the crabs requires talking to your phantom thief party member in the inn at the town and going through the events afterwards, but you need to have gotten the Succubus Dream H-Scene and then progressed the events enough to have said succubus come to your base.

Tsukinomizu Project is well known for it's depth, and their theme is "cute girls doing cute things with tentacles".
They make PROPER H-JRPG, if you didn't like RPG element nor tentacle, or even girls stuff, this circle is not for you.
But mind you, this circle is a blessing.
Now with many chibis art, it's more cute than ever, really, and seamless too. They've come so far to add more element that makes interaction more "alive".
Can't wait for NDS!!! (Naedoko Demon Slayer)

I'm having some trouble finding the 4 last companions before the endgame if any one could assist. Anyone have any idea how to find the two knights if you didn't pick them as the starting companions? It says their at a camp but I swear I'm going insane checking every one I know of. Also, is their any prerequisite to get the empire general to spawn in Okea? I have Sylvie, so I'd assumed she'd show up, but nada. I also have no idea how to get the attention of the dancer at the bar in Greenery. And final question, any idea how to get to the lava cave? It gave me the extermination quest, but no hint how to get there, as far as I remember. Any help would be appreciated.

So I have not played the other games yet, but this one is very good in my opinion. Only problem I had was the code in the assassin chapter. Also seems some characters I am trying to find, are not in the spots they say. I am guessing they are after you beat the game for the first time. But I have gotten through the code, and am at the final boss. But I am training before confronting the boss. But good game so far.
I don't fully remember where the knights are, maybe the camp before the goblins? it was a forest I believe, but the general will be upstairs at the clothing store after you get the card from the assassin chick, i think after a h-event? you may also need to upgrade your base to get her to spawn as well, and the dancer talk to Tatan at the bar next to her, took me forever to figure that out also. And the lava cave will be I believe a request in the mining town or the merc guild that you may need to get some other events for first, maybe at least the blacksmith from the mining town first, but not sure about that one
There are only two characters post game and they don't show up in the character area before then, instead there are two spots where it looks like a character will be for them, who are the ones your missing?

Without further ado~
Not Full Guide/Walkthrough but it covers some basic and important bits that otherwise mostly missed or too difficult.
- Game is actually "short" if you're not getting it all but you'll miss the majority of it, my save atm clocked 76 hours with Eclipse, the difficulty meant to be enjoyed (1st playthrough).
- Circle Game's main focus, "Cute Girls doing cute stuffs + Tentacles".
- Difficulty doesn't change HP, ONLY stats parameter. (Wish they tweak HP too, even in Eclipse at some point it's starting to get easier)
- If you skip Prologue, you'll most likely have trouble knowing some places and missing important details.
- This is JRPG at its core that hand-in-hand with Erotica, expect RPG! (pay attention to details)
*honestly, this game is more tailored for beginner who wants to advance higher, compared to past games by the circle, it is easier to play and quick to understand but lack souls*

Your "Rescuer":
* Nun is highly recommended for first timer, learning game elements and attributes, also she's quite excellent btw.
* Kunoichi is for those who want to slice things quickly at the cost of limited equipment options.
* Royal Soldiers is your classic party line up, in fact you met the minimum attribute variety but you'll encounter them soon.
(Yep, you'll have different dialogue with different rescuer. Yes, there's unique dialogue according to circumstances)
[Farming Money]
Easiest way is to defeat Pinatan but encounter rate is quite low, save scumming is recommended or just keep encountering enemy.
It drop "Pina" and vary by types, at most it can be sold for 10k each.
Some NPC will give you hint, which area easier to encounter Pinatan.
"Pinanum" type can be exchanged for RARE materials at Rankouji Temple in Fuchi Village.
For simple farming, just put Jane & Wanda together. (honestly, the synergy works very well)
[Base Expansion]/[Renovation/Remodel]
Talk to Tutuas at the base to start renovation.
After the Workshop event, you can expand/renovate other areas.
* Workshop - Need Paula to create personalize equipment. Upgrade every craft in Workshop to Lv1, speak to Workshop Manager (this will unlock Mine Path to Mining Town Graag). Need Hilda & Najiko to progress event.
* Farming Garden Field - Having Venaro Graunia makes thing easier.
* Church/Magic Research Laboratory - Need Sonia, Silvie, and Yasumin to properly use the facility (you can build it without mentioned character but the only useful thing would be the books).
[Fame]
Increases either by completing requests (some can be lewd) or through lewd acts, easiest is by dancing.
Some NPCs won't talk to you unless your Fame is high enough.
*Memory Crystal Fragments is important, ask the cat at Lani mercenary office*
(Base on the numbers of player actions, "Fame" will change into "Disgrace")

~Things to note~
After clearing area related to event/request, things might've change. It is advised to return, you might get unexpected gifts.
Some contains unique dialogue, sometime serious and sometime funny, related to circle past games.
[Titles]
Personally the most difficult one and obscure is 'make Fie work a lot all at once'.
You need ALL Companions recruited, including post-game characters.
Remove every party member until you have one (I've only tried with Mary), then choose 'remove equipment' with Fie.
Also, maybe you have trouble with Treasure Hint, see below.

Conversation 21, After capturing Scorpio, can be seen after enough story progress.
Conversation 24, Synthesize Protection Shield in the workshop basement (Brown Right table, 2nd from the left).

Select Enishi Village from the world map.

Talk to Collector at Greenery. (House below Vert HQ)
The requested item (Yin Yang clothes) can be purchased from merchant in Fuchi Village after Rinnyan joins or from Eastern Hidden Land.
You can go to Fairy Jungle after delivering the item.
Move around the map in the Jungle until event occurs twice.
Read the book at the base Magic Research Laboratory (2nd from the right).
Back to Jungle, go North to body of water near Two Glowing Mushrooms and Red Flowers.

/Compared to previous games, it's easier to level up. Stats parameter is more intense, few points will be a different of life and death, thus equipment is crucial.

Where is the fairy city? I was looking at the events and some of the hints remaining said they were there. Also I forgot which map the lightning tower was in.

I have found the ones I was missing. Just getting quests done and such. Other than that, I know what I can do.

Talk to the girl in beach clothes in that area with the shops at the edge of the first highway, but you need to have increased your fame up to a certain level first.
