I know the game generally isn't intended to allow you to do it in a "normal" play through, but would like to see the ability to collect all the monsters at once and be able to actually sort through them in the stable screen, instead of being locked to the first 9 and having to rotate. Also, another feature im sure is being worked on, but either a way to see the animations without having the studs available, or having a higher hard limit on them would be appreciated.

I think it would be nice if Invader Incubus could work on scouts and actual content instead of more monsters (which I appreciate but we have lots of those by now, maybe diverge a bit?) and shinies, which are just recoloured eggomon. I'm going to admit it, I think the roadmap is ass. The day I saw it, right after it was revealed, I was in disbelief. It's spread too thin. And Invader Incubus' posts remind me of something... A strategy of drip feeding content. Because this game is good. Really. And this is precisely why this method of making money works. Don't believe me? Refer to other games with monthly announcements. "I've gotten sick and shat my pants and no content for the month yadda yadda I work a full time job also have a reskin".
I think the developer has the potential to take it to the next level, but doesn't. 460$/month. I think that's enough to justify the implementation of enemy trainers.
This entire post could be rebuked by "refer to the roadmap". I do. But the roadmap is shit. I want my content NOW. I do NOT want a month of new monsters and shinies. I want my mons to impregnate enemy trainers and I want it NOW.
I'm trying out Godot and I know it's not easy, and no amount of Patreon money will suddenly enhance your Godot skills. But man, if I had such a pay for making a porn game, I'd drip feed, sure, but what would make the dev stand out is to NOT go that way. And instead, as advertised... Make the best NSFW game ever.

June update Name tag bug: Cannot type out names with "F" in them due to it cancelling in the menu. Maybe lock controls to mouse only when doing name tags?

I sometimes wonder if people who write those irritating messages know that they have such an effect on the people they address. Either way... I am not dawg, and I am certainly not "crying" by giving my criticism. I've also been patient enough to regret it and I therefore I know which creators to support and which to not. I expect you to tell me that I need to "chill", but I honestly don't. On the other hand, I think you should read up on how to communicate with people non-offensively.

Still that whole "criticism" seems sloppy for a FREE game, and you just look like my lil cousin who wants both chocolate and candy right now, and cant wait

There's about a thousand Ren'py and RPGM titles on this site that do, in fact, do the exact grift he described. Just off the top of my head: Champion of Realms and Corrupted Kingdoms have been "in development" since before covid, and Isekai Awakening's been "in development" for over two years, with a multi-thousand-dollar monthly budget from the paywalled content, and then of course there's Cloud Meadow, which started taking Patreon bux before Concord, with it's infamously long development cycle, even started development, and it's still only on version 0.2.3.0k. Incubus needs to put out more real content if he doesn't want to be lumped in with the grifters because, honestly, we barely have any more of it than we did at launch. It took him until now to even implement any sort of real progress-saving system. This isn't THE most painfully slow dev cycle I've seen - again, look at Cloud Meadow if you want the unobtanium example of a porn game that's never going to actually be finished because finishing it would mean an end to the infinite patreon bux - but it's starting to look like it'll be a strong example of one.

For games that actually get finished, what happens is: The dev builds out the mechanics first, then works through the campaign, THEN adds the fluff content. Incubus has built out some, but far from all, mechanics, doesn't have a campaign, but has many hours of fluff to point at. That reminds me less of a successful game dev cycle, and more of Yandere Simulator, with its ten years of new "easter eggs" and only one actually finished rival.
