Must be a bug then; a switch somewhere not coded properly. Have you tried the Renpy port to see if it happens in that?

It is an error exclusive to the RPGM game form. It does not happen in the RenPy remake.

There isn't o.32b for the rpgm version. The 0.32b is only for the renpy remake version which add the gepetto scene the dev forgot to put in the 0.32 version.
