There will be Elleria 1, Elleria 2 & Elleria 3. And each of those is made up of a number of books.
For just a part of Elleria 1, it has quite a lot of content (maybe not in lewds, but in story).

So according to these comments Lyria is out and there is now a second protag? In a harem game? Well thanks for letting me know folks so I can go ahead and delete this off my drive.

I'm enjoying this AVN so far. I understand some of the criticisms directed toward the MC, but Lyria has returned as a love interest in the version I am playing. Unless Lyria is out of the picture again at some point, I'm assuming she will stick around after she essentially scolded the MC for abandoning her and told him that she is in it with him until the end no matter what, but admittedly I am midway through the story and do not know how much more content left there is or what may happen.
I'm so incredibly confused? When has it ever been stated that Lyria is permanently out of the story? With the way this is written there are a multitude of ways where she can come back into play, and her leaving due to her crisis of faith makes perfect sense considering the views her people have on Eris.
Also, as of right now she also has the least impact on the story out of all the other LI's, it makes perfect sense to have her leave and reappear when her presence and interference could have a significant impact on the over arching plot either from an emotional standpoint due to the drama patching things up would bring or maybe even a political standpoint if conflict with the elves ever becomes a thing.
Point I am making is that depending on how she is used she can still have a strong impact on the story and remain an LI in the future so unless it is explicitly stated that she is removed it makes no sense to assume that she won't reappear, I can get being annoyed if she is your favorite of the LI's but even then abandoning the game when you have no confirmation seems premature to me especially when the story is in now way actually close to done, there is far too much that can hapen to assume that Lyria is never going to appear again.
Also, on the note of the second protagonist I don't think it is nearly as big a deal as people make it sound, clearly the guy is only meant to be used to give a bit more insight into parts of the story that it wouldn't make sense for the protagonist to be intimately involved in or to give context to how the protagonist actions interacts with the world on a more smaller scale, similar to occasional POV switches in novels to supporting characters to provide context and world building.
I highly doubt he is going to have any actual LI tied specifically to him and if there is a scene where he does engage with some of the more miscellaneous characters it is most definitely going to be skippable for people who are really adverse to that type of thing as implied in the most recent chapter when his individuality and freedom was discussed by Magnus. There is also zero chance for him to be involved with any of the Actual LI's in anything more than a professional caliber as that wouldn't make sense from a story standpoint. It is also clearly mentioned that these POV switches aren't going to be particularly long and or frequent unless it makes sense for the sake of the story progression so the vast majority of the game is going to be spent from Magnus' perspective.
Just seems to me like people are making two hasty a judgment without giving room to see how the choices the dev made will evolve, there is far too much left to see to decide the game is bad or not worth playing. Outside of a few particular story decision I honestly think the game is actually pretty good so far from both a narrative and production standpoint, and even the story decisions I don't agree with aren't something I can even call undeniably "bad", even the stuff people generally dislike about the recent story threads aren't actually terrible from an objective standpoint, they just don't immediately appeal to the audience and honestly speaking that is fine as no one would like for the protagonist to be angry at characters they like or for a love interest they liked to be unavailable, that said both of thee and many other "negatives" make sense in story and given how much is left to the story progression can have sufficient pay off if given the time to develop beyond what is merely the beginning.

Well thanks for the whole thesis I guess. Tell you what I'm gonna forget about the game for now and if by some chance the dev changes things I'll check it out in the future. Maybe.
Lyria leaving and a second protag are hardly this games only issues though so I suggest you go back and read WHY people are getting annoyed again and this time absorb it.

She kinda leaves again for a reason that makes a degree of sense to me considering her character's background and general take on the path Magnus is taking. That said it is not nearly as final as people are making it sound and all things considered there are plenty ways for her to be reintroduced into the story, to make her have much more impact.
As of where the story leaves off she has by far the least general relevance in terms of both capability and stake in the overall plot, and the only thing that makes her notable is the fact she was the first LI we were introduced to unless she gained some sort of power up and some sort of conflict or stake in the current situation it is likely for her to have been overshadowed, It makes perfect sense for her to be temporarily and organically removed from the story until she can be reintegrated in a situation where her presence can shine.
Like seriously Yana is now royalty and has a personal stake in Magnus' success outside of her relevance as an LI, in the fact that she needs him to be successful for her people to have a chance at not being stuck in the hellscape that is the demon realm. There is also the way she helps move him away from his past since he can now acknowledge and even appreciate the presence of a demon something that would have been unfathomable to his prior life.
Eris is a goddess, and has had a personal stake in all of Magnus lives due to her love, and has been quietly been helping him time after time even spending her divinity and breaking rules that would have led to her annihilation to save him and extend the lives of his parents when they should have died.
Aria is literally his right hand, his advisor in everything that has been so far and one of the strongest mages we have seen in the story to date, not only does she have a personal stake in his success since her life is tied to his due to her role, she is also a notable force in her own right and even with all of this she has still been relatively overshadowed by Yana and Amynth since they both just had mini arcs dedicated to them.
Amynth who is apparently a fundamental aspect of reality given form and sentience has pretty much been the focus of the past few mini arcs, and is literally fate tied to Magnus by some uber godlike being who is the creator of the verse and is meant to be a guiding hand to Magnus now that he is apparently The One's chosen soldier to right the world of it's many wrongs. Oh she is also the queen of a major world power to boot and the primary claim to legitimacy for Magnus's territory. In comparison Lyria's only significance is essentially the "childhood friend" role, since her claim to fame is really just the fact that she was the first LI he knew and we were introduced to.
Point is that all the others rn have stakes, strength and presence in the story that Lyria was lacking and unless something drastic happened that wasn't set to change which would have left her in the background of the others story wise for a good while, rather than let her rot in the background it makes sense to have her go her own way organically and reimplement her back into the story later on in a way that would give her more agency as a character and give her a similar level of significance to the others, this could be due to a conflict with elves since they hate Eris, maybe a power up that is forced upon her by Eris' sister making her a reluctant enemy and forcing Magnus to tackle a god personally, or maybe she reappears in some future plotline where Magnus is forced to contend with the guild and it's enigmatic leader. Those are just 3 plotlines I can see her coming back in and there are likely plenty more that would boost her significance and stake in the story other than being interested in Magnus since literally every LI can say the same.

The Dev said a month ago that her return was 'likely' just not for a while. I think a lot of people fell in love in Lyria (myself included) and were quite devastated at her leaving. No one likes it if there favorite is removed (I understand that). I'm lucky that I have other favorites too.
I also don't have the screenshots, but the Silas POV is so the dev can show us things that are happening in Eliot's world that affect him and that we wouldn't get to see without him. I get why people making decisions as a secondary MC can be annoying for people and I don't like multi-protag either.
Why I don't have a problem in this instance, is that I see him as an extension of the MC, making the decisions for Eliot, he/us are making the choices that will suit Eliot best, not Silas. I don't see him as a rival for the LIs. I'm 100% confident that he will not be after nor will have anything romantically to do with Amynth, Aria, Eris or Yana.
I mean fair enough, too each their own. I'm just saying that I think people are giving way too much flak when this is still quite solid all things considered. That said people are allowed to dislike it so if the changes aren't for you fair enough, it's a valid opinion since the entire point of a game is to enjoy it and if you aren't you shouldn't be playing in the first place. Glad I did manage to convince you to give the game a chance again if you agree to changes made in the future, I enjoy the game so I'd be kinda miffed if it stopped production due to people not being willing to give it a chance despite the generally high production quality.

Well, if the answer from the dev is to sit tight for 3+ years until a liked character comes back than I guess I'll come back in 3+ years when game 3 is in development.
This entire situation screams of a way too ambitious project that is never going to come close to finishing.
But you also must remember something about Lyria as well is that elves mate for life. So if she does comeback with a plotline that conflicts with magnus it will be an interesting see it play out considering her deep feelings for him and the virginity she gave to him.
I have a deep yearning every time Amynth speaks to want to tell her to shut the fuck up. She makes veiled threats constantly like she's going to do anything to you when from the start she states god gave you a destiny and her doing anything to you would go against it. She's annoying af. Way too OP to be conveniently dependent upon you and ffs can she just say a sentence that has a point without pontificating or platforming her ego into it? She calls you a liar for not answering questions she never asked. Then apologizes, and the MC just accepts it like anyone would've put up with her being a fucking nut. Just reading her dialogue tires me. This is the purest definition of over writing. I'm literally skipping through her dialogue because I know for a fact that I'm not missing anything of substance or value.

I don't think so, I've seen a definite improvement from the early chapters to the later ones.

I was mostly curious to see what others thought. You're right in that it does get better as it goes along.
