This was posted on Steam by the Devs:

I believe that one can conclude that Elleria is being rushed just to have some kind of "ending", outside of the original visual novel form that began with. Projects can start with passion but when money is the main final goal something goes wrong in the long run.
MC Games mentioned that the ROI for the game was disappointing, so ya he's cutting development short and charging $12.95 for the DLCs. "Sands of Time" will be the last installment for the game. The story has always been out there on the fringe of WTF?? The MC has always been an enigma, but the story had enough to keep me intrigued until he ran away to the desert. Then it got weirder...I'm hoping that when "Sands of Time" drops some nice person can share it with all of us on here because I'm not spending $12.95 for a weird disjointed DLC on Steam on top of what I've spent for the main title. I think the Dev lost a lot of supporters when he got rid of Lydia. In the last DLC "Wheels of Fate" she's still out there back with her clan. I was hoping he would pull her back in during our hero's interaction with them in that part, but no. This story is like the developer is dropping shrooms while writing his it. He had a lot going for it in the beginning with Lydia and the Dragon Queen, etc. then the shrooms must've kicked in...

I was just reading the synopsis of the developer's abandoned game, "Strings of Fate". It sounds very similar to this one. Perhaps he abandoned that idea and rebooted it in this title?

Your post got me curious. I actually looked further than just the surface for once in terms of games and behold what I found and why Eleria has been pushed aside.

The following brings you to the first noticed changes on this game(since february 2025) and I would argue it roughly lines up with when the game felt that it wasn't going where anyone expected it to go and he kept introducing stupid sandboxes, other POV's etc.

He got the equivalent of writers blog on making this game and there won't be anything good coming to this game unless he comes back to it in a couple years. Not sure why he kept arguing against anyone who felt something was off when he was already in narnia(valenza) with his mind.

I am aware of his foray into a mafia story which I will not follow or take an interest in. He mentioned he hopes this one will be a commercial success over Elleria. In his update on Steam he mentioned he was cutting the main story short due to its declining revenue and will be releasing the abbreviated "Sands of Time" DLC immediately which sells for $12.95 usd. I've already spent $$ for the main title and the first DLC on Steam I don't think I'll be purchasing this last DLC.

He should've just stayed off the mushrooms and continued the story from the champion being defeated then people would've perhaps stayed with him. He caught a lot of flak from his writing Lydia out of the story. At the start, he had everything going for him awesome graphics, terrific music, interesting NPCs. Then I guess his shroom trips began and he followed that vision.

WoF was an excellent story and social commentary. Presented with programming and graphic skill. Sad to say, pornland is not the place for social commentary. That does best lately as a sci-fi novel.

Here in pornland, we mostly want to see people fucking with little reading between scenes. Except the few of us here who actually appreciate what you have done. Thanks for that much.

I'm guessing the new DLC is unlikely to leak here?
It will. Let the dev recoup the investment though. A lot of time was invested into it. Time is money. Let's be fair.
Otherwise we end up with a certain tag. I do know this is pirate site but people must live on something. Give it time or just buy it, it is well worth it, I can tell you that. It was hell of an adventure to play it. I must say it is the best one story wise IMO. Do not expect FAP material though. :sneaky:
