Is the latest content still a DA Inquisition war table simulator with mission chains etc? Or has it gone back to a more standard VN format? The changelog isn't very clear on that.

I mean, tbh that just seems like you are being hyper critical to a freaking porn game. This isn't some literary masterpiece like I said. This isn't Tolkien or George R R Martin writing the next mega release. Again its some random dude or girl writing porn fanfic.

yeah, but martin is a hack too, even before he forgot how his own story was supposed to end. placing him next to tolkien is a joke.

Its crazy how a dev can torpedo a game like this. When it first dropped and up until the end of book 1 it was actually pretty good. Had likable characters, the main girl was great, the story, while not some amazing thing was pretty decent...and then ever since they announced the direction the game was going to go with just bailing on the characters people liked every single thing about it just tanked. The characters are boring and cookie cutter and the story reads like AI slop.

I still check up on the game every so often to see if it can get back some of what made it good, but man is it disappointing now.

Yeah this precisely. Makes a interesting love story that's very profound for the women and then totally ruins it so basically everything that was going on in pretentious meaningless garbage. It's literally lightning a match to a powderkeg and then acting surprised people actually cared about the story you writen and then wiped your ass with. But lucky for those who cares he promised she may send us a letter at some point in the future.
