Dang, that sucks and kills my hype to play this episode a bit and just wait for the next.

Why even have so many girls if the same like 5 get scenes every episode and the other like 10 get pushed to the side constantly. Did the dev forget he has other girls? It's a shame.

Because he hates you. We all do. We get together just to chat about it three times a week.

Yeah, if you aren't in the cheerleaders the eps are relatively short, as they seem to have major content in every update so far...and out of them only Ella is kinda interesting imo, not that you can get her without banging Lydia...
The exclusive part came a bit early yep, curious how the relationship with the twins goes on. I think there was a perk which lets you lie to them...beside that, i have no interest in either Paris nor Lydia & co...so a not a problem for me (so far).

I have the perk (i have all perks, im a cheater lol) and told them that paris is "just a friend" in ep 3 before paris got very cumdrunk

It doesnt matter, the will become aware of your actions in this episode anyway (thanks chelsea) and will force you to make a decision. Whats happens if you decide to get exclusive with them but still go on cheating, i dont know but i cant imagien it working longterm (thanks chelsea again ).

And even if you evade all that ... there are still saki and molly, it will be hard to keep that secret

The plot of Elmwood still doesn't seem to have kicked off. Are we a romance sim or a thriller? Are there supernatural elements or not?

Well, we've got 18 LIs, AND side chicks. First of all it's too many.

Right now, it feels like team 'Cheerslut' is responsible for all the hot scenes, and team 'Prude' isn't slow burn, its lack of content.

I like the game and the dev seems to be honest and hard working, but this are some rather major problems imo...and yeah, that's way too many LI's if you actually want some decent characterization and relationship building.

Funny thing is, they actually see you bringing Chelsea to your room after the feminist party and don't make a big deal out of it. Sure, they didn't know you yet, but they even tease you for it. So, they're aware that you can be... well, sexually active. But then, out of nowhere, they get extremely possessive of you and can't fathom the idea of sharing you with anybody else lol. I honestly think that Ep.4 out of freaking 21 is way too soon to be discarding LIs and choosing different routes.

Yeah. It's interesting, I think WW is going to go a bit more in depth and realistic than just 'everyone is instantly fine with a 1guy - 18girls relationship (and more power to him, I say). I think it's cool that certain people are blocking off others, some are passively accepting of being in a non exclusive relationship, while others don't want to share you.

Team Tashley, they are willing to share you with each other. Which is pretty fucking generous of them considering they are blood related sisters who will have to explain their incest to their parents.



PS I cheat too. Who doesn't? You're not REALLY cheating unless you're using URM to take both benevolence AND demonic perks.

I think it's cool that certain people are blocking off others, some are passively accepting of being in a non exclusive relationship, while others don't want to share you.

Yeah as i said, i usually even prefer the single route over harems avns but it just feels waaaaaaay too early for this game, you simply wont have content in this playthrough if you really stay faithful lol

Exactly. If you give me, let's say around 10-12 episodes of experimenting and testing the waters, before I have to start making significant choices in terms of relationships, then that's cool. But there are still 17 episodes left, and starting to branch already considering that there are 18 main LIs, it feels way too soon.

Other than the scenes involving the lewds we got:

- another date with Violet which was nice but very similar to ep4

- another session with naomi which was very fun but not too different to the first hangout in the mcs room with her, noami was for me the biggest positive suprise of the update despite only making out tho

- a meet up with the lesbian couple

- short conversations with taylor and both profs

- a short call with kathy and date setup

- saying hi to random (yet) cheerleader friends of chelsea at a party

- a date with ella again which felt a lot like the ep3 date


So yeah, sadly i was slightly disappointed with that part too. I dont regret subbing, its still good overall but compared to ep3 a step down imo. I rated ep3 incredibly high tho, that may plays a part.

But maybe it will work better as a transition episode in the long run

My biggest fear was the dev not being able to make meaningful progression and just coasting along. Disappointed.

No, but seriously I hope WickedWare keeps going. The branching does make me question whether this will continue to be a favorite (I am even against the good/bad perks -- who wants to play an evil MC? waste of resources IMO) but too early to tell.

My biggest fear was the dev not being able to make meaningful progression and just coasting along. Disappointed.

I mean, i think the dev is really trying hard and doing a good job all things considered, hes still learning and will get better. While i would have wished to have different encounters, its not like he's "just coasting along", theres a lot of love for his work pured in this new chapter too. Its more like that he puts too much expecations/pressure on himself imo but this is something you learn over time to manage

I just think the pacing and amount of LI's are a bit complicated for this stage of the games but maybe if we have like 10 chapters, it will feel good when looking back, like we took our time instead of rushing it.

It just feels a bit disappointing at the moment but theres still tons of potential

Yeah I meant to say the dev having the game coast along. I’m sure he’s trying his best but the first 3 were already doing a lot of setting up

If this is just more lewds and slowly setting things up without payoffs or adds anything interesting to the story then it’ll just feel like it’s coasting

Oh, man, you guys are killing me. I'm a huge fan of slow burn, but if what everyone is saying here is true, it's so disappointing. Slow burn is when you build tension but don't release it immediately, instead letting it build and build for a long time, which makes the payoff (=getting with Katie/Taylor) that much more meaningful. It's not when you just don't give a character any screentime and create no content for them. Honestly, as good as the visuals are (AMAZING) and as good as the micro-writing is (that is, actual dialog sounds believable and the characters are fun and make sense), I was already a little worried about having 3 episodes with no actual buildup for the mystery part of the plot and no actual buildup for the romances with the characters I found most interesting. So if there's no real progress in episode 4, that makes me very sad.

I still believe in the dev, it's clear he works his butt off. And some things he does better than anyone else. I just wish pacing and story structure would be as good as some of the other aspects.
