I don't remember my first grey hair. I tend to dye them all purple now.

I've had them since HS. Very full head of hair with a completely gray/white racing stripe coming from either temple, now that I'm 35. Based off my parents I anticipate full grey by my mid 40s. But at least bald's not on the horizon.

Ahh... that's fair, yeah. But I wouldn't really worry about all that slippery slope stuff. The content polls are just a bit of largely inconsequential fun - and I don't plan on putting Anasteya into any polls in the near future, at least not when it's a poll between her and other characters. It makes it a bit boring when it's obvious she's 100% going to win. Though it should be said, Sunny fared much better among patrons than non-patrons, so it isn't all that bleak for the redhead

I might get bashed by Ana-lovers for saying this, but Sunny is going to have a lot more scenes than Anasteya in the next episode (even if I split it into two, which I'm 90% sure I'm going to do).

But since you removed Elvensang from your signature, I will censor her ass every chance I get.

Hey everyone,

just in case some of you have forgotten about Elvensang, I just wanted to quickly let you all know that work on the next ep is still underway. Earlier this month I passed my final exam, concluding my university studies once and for all and ridding myself of the academic guillotine that had been hanging over my head.

Throughout June, I've worked on dialogue and art, and finished the outline for the rest of the "first season" of Elvensang's story - the end of the "first season" is still miles away and it will present a considerable shift in the scale of the story (in the context of the story's "stage" at least), but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. There was a lot of things that I wanted to do but couldn't for the sake of comprehensive storytelling (not to mention the time required to do it). Using "mindmapping" software (SCAPPLE) was extremely helpful with this, as well as mapping out the plot of a specific episode and so on. It's very flexible since I can just move the bubbles around as individual events, add a variety and notes and so on. Anyway, I mention that mostly as a recommendation to any fellow storytellers out there.

Outside of that, I'm still considering splitting the next episode in two - the first half is very "socially charged", focused on characters and their relationships, but with no significant advancement in the plot, while the second half is for the most part plot-oriented while dedicating some time to explore an old character / new character, depending on past choices. I still haven't 100% decided which way I'm going to go, but I'm leaning more towards splitting them - it will give you guys something to play while giving me a little more time to do the second half right. Majority (I'd say like 90%) of the artwork for the first half of the episode is done, so if I do split the episodes, a release in July is guaranteed.

Anyway, that's it for now - I have my graduation in about 4 hours and then I'll be visiting family for a few days, but when I come back I will write a more detailed post with previews (sometime this weekend).

I don't usually get invested in the successes of others, but this project... I can't stand the fact that it's flying under the radar. At least I'd like to think that it's flying under the radar rather than the masses playing it and then rejecting it. That's unthinkable when the quality of the writing is so far above the usual VNs.

If it's because of the super infrequent updates, hopefully Worlaix can one day see the patreon grow now that he's done with uni.

Keep up your excellent work, Worlaix. I can't speak for everyone, but I check back here from time to time because I find your writing intriguing. You've painted a relatable picture, both with regard to the characters and the world. I am also looking forward to an update when it comes, but please don't rush anything. This game will live on for years after you're finished with it. Please don't rush a work of art.

So, I finished chapter 4 and I have to say the story is actually good, better than I expected for sure. The world got lots of lore, for a porn game at least. I would definitely will be checking chapter 5.
The only things I can complain about is the modern clothes(like thongs and such) and things like nail polish. I guess it's fine because it's a fantasy world but still it doesnt fit well with me. And of course the lack of sex scenes, I would think you would have at least a chance with Becky, but it is what it is.

So...How often does the dev release new stuff? I really want to keep playing, lol

If you think ORS is slow, you are in for a long ride haha.

Hopefully, the pace picks up now that the dev is done with his uni studies, but real life starts after college, so we will just have to see.

alchemical nail polish makes sense TBH. also i remember so interesting neolithic archaeological discoveries witch looked like pretty modern female clothes.
there was also female undergarments from early medieval that looked pretty much like a thong.

I'm all for immersive world building, but thong elves is something I am willing to accept with an open heart.

On that same tack, I think that clam and oyster shells were used for makeup paints (maybe not for modern day purposes, but similar effective use).
