Maybe you should've stuck to that...There is, or rather was, some truth to it.
However we have since changed things up a little and I could clarify a few things:
The original plan was for Emi to come to the cabin and be a love interest for the mc of the cabin but then I went and made this game and kinda ruined that
- Emi will be making an appearance in The Cabin but she won't be a fuckable character for the mc of the cabin.
- We don't have plans for a prequel to this game simply because it would need to be with Emi as a female lead ( so a female protag game which a lot of people are against ) and in this game she's a virgin so she wouldn't be able to have sex with a guy. That being said, it is heavily hinted that she has experimented with a girl ( or girls
) so if enough people are interested in a lesbian female protag game following Emi through college then it's something both me and Wiz would love to look into.

Cause well... even if you've removed her now... still back-stabbed all the people that trusted you.

Played this over the weekend, alongside with the Christmas special. Nice games, not perfect - but there is definitely potential.
I'll do a proper review of both within a week, but here is the gist:
- Dialog is pretty realistic and fun in a innocent, but flirty way.
- I like Emi, even though things pace a bit too fast overall, the moment-to-moment pacing feels nice.
- The christmas update is a creative addition that actually makes their story more fun, abeit a bit more fantastical.
Haven't played any of the other games by this developer yet, will do in the near future.

your theories do not line up with the dev saying that he just wants to make romance games no offence to cell but you give him to much credit, or if he has a writer idk, it just seems like your trying to light a fire for a drama thats seems to be settling down

Actually, my theory was based on trying to find a way to retrofit everything in.
I assure you, lighting a fire for drama when the actual developer has been threatened is the last thing on my mind.
But you are right, this could lead people to think otherwise - akin to Mass Effect's Indoctrination Theory. Even though the game tells you otherwise, obvious connecting hints can tell you about the direction a game should have taken. l still believe the Indoctrination theory is the 'intended' and best matching game ending, regardless of official posts steering you away from that narrative. I feel the same way about Emi & Jamie - Long Road Home leaves absolutely no doubt about implying what their relationship is, even though the game actively tells you she's your childhood friend. (Possibly for legal reasons, but still)
I do think your worry for people misinterpreting my post is justified, so I'll change it right after this post. Thank you for pointing that out. My theory was simply an effort to make a connection of things that maybe should not be connected, because I believe connections create stronger products. Perhaps Cell is really just trying to make romance games and he wants Emi to get fucked in a different way. That's perfectly fine as well. It's less strong as a narrative, but that doesn't make it wrong.
