I guess I got ending 1, so I started to replay to see if there was more. Didn't find the pistol the first time around which apparently leads to new stuff, but I'm having an error with a missing image, and then further issues which I guess could be a result of that error.

Unfortunately it is a V10 save, just saw the game for the first time today and played it from the downloads on the first page. I'll try to do a new download from one of the other sources and play to that point again in a little while and see if it happens again though.
Also, just wanted to say that from what I did play so far, I really enjoyed it, the atmosphere/vibe is really well done and what little of the story I understand is very interesting, well done.

If you don't want to redownload whole game, you can find YEP_PictureCommonEvents.js file in "js" -> "plugins" and in there change string "$gameSystem.setTouchMoveEnabled(false);" to "$gameSystem.setTouchMoveEnabled(true);".
Or just wait a bit and I will update all links.

Now that I think about it, were you saying this because of the area I was in? I just tried it with the MEGA download to be sure since I was using Gofile before, and got to the same area with the same issue. I realized that that scene mentions the name L-412 which was the first time I saw it other than people in this thread playing older versions which seems to have changed a lot about the story/progression.

Hm. Strange. Can you tell me how game starts for you? Second screenshot of the game is exactly how it should start. If it's different for you, well... hm? Delete whole game and then reextract it from archive. If it how it starts for you then please, would you be kind enough to describe how you get to these locations? You shouldn't have a way to get to these locations.
Pretty sure the game starts as you intended, with the dialogue, short school sequence, more dialogue, bus driver/girl and fishing, Ann scene, then the passing out and waking up in the area where you get the flashlight.

EMPTY-66822 is one of my favorite games on this site, it's the only game I've ever posted in the thread of. I was writing a long review as I was playing v10 but I got to the ending and deleted it all. There are a lot of things I want to say about v10 but you seem to be aware of most of them already. So the only criticism I'll give is WHY WOULD YOU REPLACE THE BRATTY TSUNDERE LITTLE SISTER WITH A CARING OLDER SISTER!? FIRST YOU CUT HER ROUTE AND MADE HER H SCENE INACCESSIBLE, AND NOW YOU WIPED HER OUT OF EXISTENCE ENTIRELY WHAT THE HELL MAN? I'm just sad that I'll never be able to see the fully realized version of this project. v9 was a mess too but could you at least leave a download of it up in the OP so people can see what the game used to be like?

Thank you. Problem with this project is, there is a lot of stuff in there, even if on the first sight it's look like it isn't. For example there was "mother" in v9 with full sprite and everything. So I cut... her. Because it's too much work to do justice to the character and I don't much time to work on the game. And that goes for everything else, too. If you try to just improve one character, it suddenly pulls in a whole bunch of stuff. And now you have a whole bunch of stuff to do. And I have little experience and it takes forever. It's just too big of the project for me lol.
Welp. In truth, this project was always meant to be a prequel to something else. And even though it's still not very good, at least it answers the “how it started” question in some form. That makes me a little more at peace with all of this.

So the game is now seeming to be railroaded to be forced choices except the very last one and there's only 3 scenes in the game?
I was bumping into every wall and talking to every npc to see if there was more to the game but it seems to be only about an hour or 2 long if you read everything and that's it?
Or am I missing something and there's more to the game than the one ending?

So, would we need to hit up your email to get previous versions of the game? I wanted to look at earlier versions since I just updated them afterwards. I know there was a v5 through v8.
