CH03 + CH01(Rework) - Status Update #03

Devlog: October Update
Hey everyone!
It’s been a while—probably about a month since my last update—so I’m sure some of you might be wondering if I disappeared. Don’t worry, I’m still alive and kicking! The truth is, I’ve just been really busy, and honestly, I forgot to drop a devlog with everything that’s been going on.

Current Progress:

Right now, I’m not working on Chapter 3 as much as I thought I would. My main focus has shifted to reworking Chapter 1. To be honest, I didn’t make as much progress over the last week as I would’ve liked, but that’s life. As I’ve mentioned before, this isn’t my full-time job, so finding time can be tough.

Chapter 1 Rework:

The good news is, the script for Chapter 1 is going really well. I’m working with a proofreader now, so I don’t have to worry about that side of things, which is a huge relief. The real challenge has been the renders.
I’m currently using an RTX 2060 for rendering. It’s not the greatest GPU out there, but it gets the job done—just slower than I’d like. About half of the renders for Chapter 1 are finished, but it’s been a struggle due to hardware limitations. I’ve been saving up money and I’m considering upgrading to an RTX 3060 to speed up the process. That would really help move things along.
On the bright side, I’ve gotten my schedule back in order and am now working daily without interruptions, which has been a big help.

Looking Forward:

I’m hoping by the next update, I’ll have Chapter 1 completely finished and can start diving back into Chapter 3, which I think will be a lot more fun to work on.
Anyway, I’m going to get back to it now. Thanks for sticking with me! I’m excited to bring you all more updates soon.

Devlog Update: Chapter 1 Rework is DONE!
I know this update is way overdue, but I’ve got great news—Chapter 1 Rework is officially complete! It took a while, but it was worth it. Now, I can finally shift my full focus to Chapter 3.
The good thing is, I had already created some of the scenes for Chapter 3 beforehand, which means development will be faster this time around. I know my devlogs have been delayed a lot, but it’s time to get back on track. I really hope I can regain the same momentum I had while working on Chapter 2.
Next Steps:

• My immediate goal is to finish 2–3 scenes of Chapter 3.

So it´s being worked on.

have to keep looking at the dialogue history to see what is being said. awful engrish against light backgrounds with a white text makes this game a bigger headache than it's worth. recycle to the bin with this one. more and more games are going to the garbage can lately. most stories are absolute shit. makes getting through my unplayed folder alot fast though since most games are crap.

I'm sorry, I usually phrase this better, but this keeps happening more often and I'm losing my mind. How stupid do you have to be, if you're making a visual NOVEL that requires players to read the story you're telling, and to have no text box, and not outline around your white letter, that you constantly put over white/bright area's?!
