Let me clarify something:The answer is so simple and obvious and I don't get why some of you miss it completely.
You're NOT paying for the game. You support the developer, because he's not a AAA company, it's a simple guy like you and me working by himself. He can't die of hunger for 2-3 years until the game is done and you pay 10$ for it. So, it's a purely voluntary payment, to support him during development. Of course, you may end up paying 10x the value of the game, but you do it as I said, voluntarily, to support a guy you 'like'.
If you don't want that, you simply buy the game when it's done. It's exactly an early access that AAA do, for bug fixing, feature polish etc. but for a simple dev, is more about survival to finish the game.
Nothing really changed since 'old times', it just added new steps on the way, that you can just ignore. And that is because now games are not just made by big companies with a lot of money behind them, but by simple people or very small teams, working in their free time. And if it's not in their free time, but in their 'all' time, the guy needs to make a decent living, doesn't he ?
And if the guy wants the absolute last version to be available only to paying customers while he offers the previous version free for anyone, it's not such a big deal, isn't it ? People want everything NOW, free, screw the guy working his days and nights for that.
Well, I guess here is a good time to mention I was writing a couple of my previous posts under a false assumption. Nenad is not locking up all future versions of the game. Cro mentioned this in an earlier post, as did a couple others, and I misinterpreted them. I thought that, from here on out, people playing for free would only have access to the game up until v0.19, and from there on only paying patrons would have access. I was wrong.Let me clarify something:
If the developer wants to charge money for his game - he can surely do that ("it is a free country" as I always say).
Hopefully it will not turn to that old story about the goose with the golden eggs - "why get one egg per day if you can get them all now" (or something like that).
The two points from my post were:
- The quality of the sex scene was dropping (like where those amazing scenes with Jade and who are all these old looking ladies, etc).
- Many games were recently abandoned and people are more careful who they want to support today.
And just to make it even more clear if Nenad A. (from now) wants to charge people for his game - I will honor his new position and will not download this game anymore (especially if it requires some "crack" by 'unknown' person/people). Of course, I will not be hanging on this thread anymore either ("what for?").
Peace, everybody.
Right but be careful if 0.19 is now free and you update to 0.20 and start over the game crashes with jade not letting you go out into space sorry my bad english i'm italian and not fix audio problem for windows 11Well, I guess here is a good time to mention I was writing a couple of my previous posts under a false assumption. For each new update, the previous update will be released for free. It's the same as it has been, only now Nenad is giving out gamer codes to reward the patrons. They get to play the game a couple months ahead of those who want to play the game for free.
This is a practical compromise. I would do the same.
So, Single_Guy, might be worth sticking around.
Have patience man.Nenad A.
When is the final version planned for? I'm not asking about the next release, just the final version, or eventually a complete season. Is it a matter of half a year, a year or years?
How many chapters/acts/episodes are planned in total? What's the current percentage of completion? Are we halfway there or is this just the beginning?
Is there a long-term roadmap? If not, maybe you could consider creating one on Trello or similar site?
Is this game planned as a complete work at all or is it more of a never-ending story? Have you thought about possible ending scenarios (you don't have to reveal them - I'm just asking if you already have a vision of them) or are you focusing on the upcoming releases for now?
I think it is the best solution and some developers are doing this (or similar things) already.Well, I guess here is a good time to mention I was writing a couple of my previous posts under a false assumption. Of course it deserves, the problem is not this ... It is very complicated .....Nenad works his ass off on these games. Willy D and especially Eon are two of the best adult games out there. There is so much content and they are actually fun to play just as a game in general. He deserves to make money. Why would anyone be mad at him for that?
Yeah, lol, there are a bunch of girls I want to see more of. That's one of the cool things about Nenad's games, the variety. (There are some potential pitfalls to so much variety, which has sort of been discussed, briefly. But if a dev were to err, I'd say err on the side of variety.)I think it is the best solution and some developers are doing this (or similar things) already.
For example, "The Singer" developer does not release his game to the public till he gets his 'goal' (a certain number of paid subscribers on Patreon, etc) - because currently many people subscibe to get the 'paid' game and then unsubscribe till the next version is released. I believe this is due to many game fans trying to support many developers, but they have limited funds and have to make hard decisions 'who will they support this month'. Ultimately there are too many good games tooday, which is really different from 2019/2020.
I think this might be a reasonable approach here too (if Nenad A. wants to try this model - to have a specific and steady (more or less) income, considering that he releases a new update every three monts or so (which is similar to the developer that I just mentioned).
And a 'current' version is paid and the older ones are free is one of the best solutions too, because Nenad A. would have many game fans (especially new fans, who just found this game) and after a few free updates they might decide that they really like this game and want to contribute to help the developer.
The only thing left for Nenad A. is to add more sexy scenes with Jade and Freya in each update (and more hotties for Drake obviously).![]()
game codes are unique and can be tracked to any patreon user so posting codes here will only in getting said user banned on patreon by the dev so no nore updates unless someone finds a way to bypass this shit. if you want to keep playing you need to support him on patreon to get your own unique game codeI take it no game code for v20 . Tell v21 comes out. Is that right .
I agree with you - the animations are amazing (this is one of the reasons why this game is so popular).Yeah, lol, there are a bunch of girls I want to see more of. I think a huge chunk of devs often forget that they're . . . making an adult game and that they should probably get around to adding sex scenes. But nope, they seem to add sex scenes almost as an afterthought.
Or if devs do add adult scenes, usually each consists of like 1 or 2 animations, with static renders making up most of the scene. Which is generally okay, I think, if a dev picks good positions. However, I'm always somewhat awed by Nenad's output: each update always has 6 new scenes--but each of those scenes is solely made up of several animations. I can't think of many other devs who produce that much content. Maybe Llamaman and NLT Media, but the latter dev is a group of people.
If you step into a Nenad game, you're stepping into a candy store, where most other games feel like the player is being led by a carrot on the stick--"Oh, the content you're waiting for is just around the corner! The next update has so many scenes!" Then the update will have like one mediocre scene. Not so with Nenad's stuff. Consistent quality work, every time.
That's not to say I like every one of the girls; some of them of feel just meh. But like 95% of the girls I like.
It's a fair question though, I mean EON is what, 6 years old now? If there is a timetable or an intended goal it would be nice to know. Not every question is a complaint.Have patience man.
It's endless on-goings. What reason would a developer have to finish a game that lays golden eggs? I think Nenad has found the right approach - maximum sex, lots of LI and a rattling mix of genres (and a minimum of normal plot and common sense). Everyone will find something for themselves. It's a fair question though, I mean EON is what, 6 years old now? If there is a timetable or an intended goal it would be nice to know. You can't use any but your own saves since they're connected to your personal game for v20.anybody got a full save of v20?
Damn.. really? I thought only the old saves wont work. Have you tried using any other's v20 saves? You can't use any but your own saves since they're connected to your personal game for v20.
the dev changed the code so that a unquige game code is needed to play, the same code is stored inside of the save file so only the person with the exact same game code can use this save file. you would need both game code + save to use it. dev normally provides saves for updates but he already mentioned that this no longer makes sense with the changes. so no you need to get a game code and then replay from the startDamn.. really?
