You need to wait till she will be looking other way and grab her purse. it's a bit tricky, but it works
I went to the motelroom with Freya, had the flashback, but cant find any option to exit the motelroom, am I stuck? (my previous save is quite a hilw back)

p.s. but I remember that I stucked after that flashback too and manage to get out by clicking (if I'm not mistaken) somewhere near air condotioner
