i'm also gonna throw this out there, for me personally, perhaps a futa/female scene or two, or perhaps a futa character, would be nice to see!
Interesting - are you sure you were on the true 0.0e99 version? As soon as I was able to look at the bug I published the new version to Mega, but hadn't updated the main thread while I was working on the other mirrors. So, maybe it's possible you had e98? (though, obviously you know your desktop better than I do!)
There will be no futa characters or scenes in this game.

Yep positive. Can't really remember where I got it from but 99.9% sure. I tend to use other sites first before coming to this one because they usually have the updated versions and older versions of the games before this site does.
I never waste time with other sites anymore as they are always behind in what they post and everything is already here way before it's on one of those other sites unless it might be a new game. Not to mention their links suck ass.

One reason is RPGM games are a hit and miss since it is a lot of walking and with most of them and saves can be a mess. Another reason may be female lead character and many people like pretending they are the MC so they prefer males.
It may have nothing to do with the story and art so in saying that don't give up keep making it and maybe get better at making games. This site if you look at the most popular games most seem to be Ren'Py.
Right, I hear you, and thank you for your feedback! I haven't experienced the save issue (yet), but... well, we'll see if anything develops. I did consciously choose RPGM because I wanted to add some sense of environmental interaction that I feel is lacking in Ren'py games, but I have considered/am considering Ren'py for another idea I have that would be in line for development after this one. But I also get if people tend to avoid RPGM. Hopefully I'll just make something good enough that they'll want to engage with my RPGM game.
If the game content isn't somebody's cup of tea (female MC, f/f-exclusive), I totally get that - don't play something that isn't for you! There are plenty of games that don't match my specific taste and I avoid those as well. My concern is more if this does align to somebody's interest, but something seems off/wrong/bad. I do want to make something quality!
So, feedback in those terms is appreciated, as is feedback as to where I could improve as a developer (direction, technical, etc.). Really, anything constructive. But since I'm making and releasing this game for free, I won't be changing the focus (female MC, f/f) or platform just to try and gain popularity.

You should not change it keep making it and learn as you go if this is your first game you can only get better.
I think a lot of people want things like anal, sci-fi, Elves and other creatures, Incest and other things like that i think because of the internet many people need unique stuff to get them interested.
I could be wrong but that is my take from what i see on this site. I'll still add this game to my play list though!
Oh, absolutely - no plans to change, but plenty of plans to grow as a developer. And I'm sure this is different from other games in some ways, and not in others. And probably seems simpler now (both in terms of plot and content) than it will be at the end
I think you're definitely right in that games with more niche fetishes (at least peppered in) seem to find more of an audience. I think at least part of that is overexposure, like you said, but also because that audience can't find that kind of content as readily in standard porn (i.e. tentacles, rape, incest, etc.). But my game will appeal to who it appeals to and I'm perfectly happy with that!
Thanks for putting it on your list! Hope you enjoy when you get around to it! (It's a glorified demo at this point, but, I'm working on the full day 1 version as we speak!)

Thanks! My thoughts exactly. The plan is to give the MC here plenty of choice throughout the story, so hopefully you'll enjoy that (I know I have the same problem with a lot of female MC games)
I know the walking simulator reputation and I'll endeavor to keep the walking to a relative minimum. At the very least, I'm hoping to give the player some things to scope out by walking around that make sense and add either humor or additional content. I would hope to keep the walking to maybe less than MGA, definitely less than THEx (if my maps were ever that big, I'd be sure to implement the same fast travel system, but I don't expect ANYTHING near that), but those are games I've played through RPGM that stand out with the walking issue. Oh, and Coceter Chronicles, too, but I think my environment won't be quite that large, either.
In either case, any walking won't be targeted to fluff the game. I'm in the hundreds of images, not including animations, sprites, faces, tilesets, and more, and I'm not even done with day 1! So hopefully any bit of walking will be worth it. Or at least it'll be balanced out by the fact that there won't really be any stat grinding to the game haha.
