Have you considered that hyperbolizing sexual assault as "rape" is the reason why people start chirping at you? You're doing a disservice to actual rape victims by doing that.
I don't think it's hyperbole that people willing to sexually assault would like to rape, and are likely just waiting for the opportunity or the twisted courage to do so.

Who cares? It's porn fiction.

Honestly, I don't object to the fictional content, I object to the very real people that defend that content as not problematic. Because they are likely a risk to people around them, now or in the future. Fiction is a safe place to indulge kinks and fantasies, but those that aren't able to recognise the different contexts are kinda scary.

Stop talking nonsense!
You watch horror, thrillers or action films? Where people are killed and raped, a lot of good films have similar plot lines, so what is your problem?
This topic has been discussed and banned for a long time already, but you still won’t calm down, oh my God, they are trying to "haras" the pixels! GD! Go play Mario, although no, it’s not worth it, there’s a hint of kidnapping and NTR!

I think 90% of the games on this site have some form of sexual assault, some more overtly than others, so I really don't understand why everyone is so upset here.

If this game was the kind of game you guys are complaining about, Natasha would have already fucked Ashe and her sister when she found the drugs, in fact I was quite surprised that there was no sexual act at that moment, so in that way it confirmed to me at least that the game cares more about the plot and character development than immediate gratification.

Because these topics keep coming up, I'm just going to remind everyone that this forum has a very easy-to-use ignore function, and I'd encourage everyone to make free use of it.

Are those 90% of games defended as normal behaviour by people in the comments, rather than acknowledged as porn fantasy material? Because that's what I object to. The behaviour being normalised.

Ah, the next rape apologist! Give it up, Ladies and Gentlemen!
Why would I apologize?

I would, however, be willing to accept your apology for attempting to bully people online, if you were to make such an apology, and if I believed it to be sincere, neither of which seems likely.

Hmm I think it's an objective thing, if some countries don't penalize saxual assault is a different story.
As far as I'm aware, all of the countries, provinces, and states which have laws defining sexual assault also penalize the crime. My point is that many of these countries define the term differently. And since these different jurisdictions have different definitions for sexual assault, I don't think it can be objectively defined on a universal scale. I mean, within the bounds of any specific jurisdiction, you can find an objective definition for that locale, but, on a global scale, the definition becomes subjective, because the different authorities define it differently.

Fiction is a safe place to indulge kinks and fantasies, but those that aren't able to recognise the different contexts are kinda scary.
Your lack of self-awareness here is amazing.

It's fantasy.

Results indicated that 62% of women have had a rape fantasy.

I know what you mean, and it's a vicious cycle.
People play the game, are disturbed by Natasha's behavior, and come to the forum to talk about it.
Unfortunately, they don't expect someone to argue in favor of assault or a cop abusing their power, and are blindsided by it.

It's in my nature to educate and try to help. So I try to lend a hand, but you're right; I should just refrain from saying anything.
Yeah, be a good boy and shut up. ;)

And fantasy is fine.

It's the people thinking that the behaviour in the fantasy is normal that is suspect. I imagine those 62% don't think rape is fine and dandy, so I have no issue with them. It's the ones that do think it's fine and normal that I have a problem with.

Is this difficult to understand? I know I can be less than an exemplar communicator at times, but this one feels like I'm being clear.

I think we can all agree that at the very least the cop has abused her authority in the first and the second encounter. What happened in the gym locker room goes against common decency. A realistic response would be for the MC to report the incident to the gym administration. On the next visit to the gym the cop should receive a warning that if she does it again, her membership would be revoked and she could be banned from the gym.

I think the MC should have been arrested for drug possession at their third meeting and spend a few nights in jail to reflect on her mistakes that lead her there. (I would have probably confiscated the drugs and sent them on their way with a stern warning.) This could be the time for Vanessa to shine. :) A missed opportunity for character development. ;) She could show that she isn't such a cold uncaring bitch as she appears to be. The MC would after thinking for a while request to call her lawyer and call Vanessa. She'd realize that she would lose her job if she doesn't show up again. You could have the choice here to either:
1. call Marita and lie about being sick and probably keep the job
2. tell her the truth or a part of it and risk losing the job
3. don't call Marita and lose the job for sure
After a day or two she would come with her lawyer and tell the two dumbasses they are free to go and remind the MC with a smirk that they are now even. Later at the dinner Vanessa would interrogate the MC about the entire affair. She'd tell her about her misadventures. Vanessa would reply that she can't help with that but knows someone who could, but it wouldn't come for free. They meet with Moira who after hearing the MC out (you could decide how much you want to divulge) would offer her a job in her election campaign. You could accept or refuse her offer (and have to somehow deal with the cop later). If the MC lost her job, the money would come in handy. After Moira becomes elected mayor the cop gets reassigned to .

If Ashe would only get a few days, I could maybe get behind that. But as the laws are in reality, and how they seem to be reflected in EI(title), that would be heavy handed.

But yeah, that could be some great story beats, and also really work well with advancing Vanessa's relationship. Hopefully the dev has thought of that, or notices your thought and adds it to their story bandolier.

Just FYI, 'Loose' is something that is relaxed or not tight (like a knot), 'lose' is when you don't possess or have access to something, like a job, or your wallet if someone has stolen it. It's like rouge vs. rogue, very easy to confuse.

You remember that she "invited" them to her home? ;) I immediately suspected it to be a ruse to lure them into her home.

Yeah, it's pronounced the same. :) Corrected.
I think she needs to get her fingers burned. :) I put in a spoiler how I would have acted if I were the cop. :)

I see it more as a way for the Dev to make clear the path that Ashe will take from now on, being one of the biggest inflection points to continue with Natasha's Route, so that there is no doubt that whatever happens will be because Ashe wanted it, I hope to see what happens to get us all out of this abyss of controversy.

We all have different perspectives, I just hope it doesn't escalate into a bad vibe.

You really think that the MC just cleans the apartment and collects her payment from the cop and that's it? :)
Also your decision here, i.e. deciding the route to follow (siren, kitten, voyeur) depends on the points you accumulated during the game. So your selection may be limited. I could choose only the siren route. But it's understandable, as it corresponds to my previous choices. :)
How much will the MC pressured into committing sexual acts I cannot say. But surely there will be intimidation involved at the very least. More coercion very likely too ("do as I say or you will go behind bars"). It remains to be seen what actually transpires. But I won't watch it as the MC follows the siren path in my playthrough. ;)
(For the record I like lesbian bdsm. :devilish: I just don't like the cop.)

I'm curious. What would you do if you were a police officer and encountered a pretty offender reeking of marijuana? ;)

Try really hard to restrain myself from ogling her while doing my job. In my case it would only be to make sure she is not driving as MJ is legal here nut not diriving under it's influence. ;P

On the other hand something about the choices we can make regarding the interaction between Natasha and Ashe that might influence the perspective and either revive the discussion or bring it to a different subject. ( hope for the later.) When the player makes a choice in the game it isn't necessarily representing what Ashe wants but what she does or how she does it. So talking about Ashe wanting Nat's advances if you choose to let them happen. It might be the case that she doesn't want them either way and is feeling unease in both casses only in one she reject and in the other she is too meek to do so. Regardless that game is here for entertainment purpose and maybe help peps discover something about themselves.

What do you think? Does choosing for Ashe always represent her will or is it more nuanced than that? I understand certain choices are clearly representing Ashe's will but not always from my perspective. For example how Ashe calls out Vanessa after their failed date for me is really a representation of her personality rather than her will. since both options basically express the same thing in a different way.

You bring up an interesting point. The MC letting the cop molest her when she was searching her for drugs might be that the MC was just too afraid to resist.
I assumed when you choose to call Vanessa an asshole, MC would get angry and storm off. I picked the other, more diplomatic option to continue with Vanessa's route.
