I mean, Ashe was already humiliated and exposed in front of everyone thanks to the streamer bitch. Being sent out doesn't exactly do much on top of it. We know that Vanessa is a very political and scheming creature, so taking what she's done at face value is foolish. She owes Ashe a huge apology and explanation regardless and her route confirmation is probably linked to accepting it or not. At this point I have to put her in limbo as whilst the rich girl archetype she's got going on is interesting, her actions are not yet explained and being so quick to form a strong opinion on a character over a cliffhanger is a choice to be charitable.
I dont excuse her behavior but i do understood where the reaction comes from. Shes not one to open up to people like she has with ashe. Knowing how people act when they feel betrayed, it makes sense even if we dont like it. Girls be tripping man haha. Im waiting to see the aftermath before i fully judge her off one heat of the moment action.

you dont think the two things go hand in hand first Pushed then verbaly Humiliated infront of everyone its a total Package. You know some Words and Actions Cut Deep especially for someone as insecure and vulnerable as Ash is we've seen throughout all the chapters of the game.
Whilst I agree that both actions are harmful, it is important to note they are done by separate people. Vanessa only turned up after Ashe was exposed and the crowd had started in on gossiping and recording. A one-two punch of the physical then verbal humiliation by one person/group would have be far worse but Vanessa is still very much an unknown.

Getting publicly humiliated, having your biggest secret exposed, then having the host of the party and owner of the house kick you out makes it look like "duplos arent welcome in this house" to everyone there. It just reinforces the treatment they already get in society. She had the power to shut that shit down, and instead she kicked out the person being harmed.

Regardless of where she goes from here, that action alone makes it a huge betrayal. No amount of "well I didn't know, was shocked, and I don't actually hate your kind" makes up for doing that publicly in front of an entire party.

I know some people don't like comparing it to being transgender, but to me it really feels like "we were close then I found out you were trans and freaked the fuck out because you tricked me."

On a related note, after considering the Ms. X situation some more, I'm firmly of the opinion it's some combination of Moira/Jessica. On a narrative level, I just can't see it being any of the main LIs, which eliminates all of the other decent candidates who have only one reason why they "can't" be the blackmailer (IMV these are Delilah, Bella, Evelyn, Oriana, and Natasha). With them excluded, Moira/Jessica has the most means and motive, not to mention reason to single out Vanessa in some tasks.

Why is this related? Because at this point, the most likely person to discover this is...Vanessa. And that would set up a damn fine redemption arc.
I really don't see Moira blackmailing Ashe with sexual tasks at a party, making her drink cum, kissing her own sister, etc. But then I don't know who could do that and why. Maybe it's to sexually liberate Ashe, it would be a "friendly" blackmail like I read sometime.

Entirely fair take. However with the lines of abuse clearly growing from just the girl who started shit to who knows how much of the anonymous crowd, the charitable take is Vanessa is separating Ashe from the situation. It's certainly a bad way to do it and regardless of the intent will be part of Ashe and Vanessa's relationship going forward, but it is something. Plus the party is doubtlessly going to be ending due to the idiot duo needing the cops called on them. And Ashe being around when the cops turn up with drugs and booze in her system will only cause trouble.

That really depends on the motive. As Ashe needs to provide proof of her complying with the blackmail, part of the motive could be to tie Ashe heavily to the stereotype of duplos being sex obsessed freaks which has all sorts of potential political and other implications.

Going to have to agree here. The comparison is quite apt in this instance.

No matter whatever mommy issue Vanessa has with Moira (think it is obvious from where her hatred comes from), nothing is a justification to act like that to Ashe in front of everyone in the party. To kick her out of the house screaming? That is adding insult to injury.
Even Isabella who was always trying to pick on Ashe (with her fifth grade type of flirting) saw that was way too much.

I commend the dev for having the courage to show the exact type of discrimination duplos suffer in this world. Also coming from someone who was supposedly cool with Ashe before that whole party night. (y) :)

I literally wrote the same thing a while back, and I couldn't agree more; it just encourages everyone to copy that way of treating Duplos, especially someone from the upper class like Vanessa.

But I'm still curious how Morrigan is going to justify how she behaved at the party.

Jesus can't wait till the next episode, these constant Vanessa wars are even more exhausting than the old Rachel ones.
well calling them wars is one thing but pointing out Right from Wrong i dont see anything bad with that im suprised i only see 3-4 with me recent commenters with the Right morals here. And if you dont want to see the so called war or discussion your free to not partake if it dont intrest you.

One good thing that came out of the whole influencer and Vanessa debacle is that Ashe doesn't need to worry much anymore about the blackmailer.
Like give me dirty pics/do something sexual or i will tell your secret? Well this train already departed. :p

Even so, this doesn't confirm to much. If the other mother were to turn out to be a duplo, revealing this in a list would diminish the impact it would have if revealed during the game.
That makes zero sense for Jane to be a duplo and Ashe never once talks about it.
