It depends how fast you read an if you skip directly to sex scene.

For my experience, I dont read that fast and I play the whole game in few hours. Seems to me it takes me a whole day.

Honestly I really like #2 for some reason if it was any other game but im so used to #1 the 2nd one looks off to me since we have spent time with her.

I mean there are three paths now, so of course there will be more renders.

Which doesn't mean there is more content to the path you took, like it was before the path split !

I was under the impression the path split is more just for an optional romance / lewd scene and wouldn't really mean that many extra renders unless all of them are included in an update.

Oh no no no ... The paths as of now will completely change the way Ashe acts and reacts to situations.

It will change the story and the scenes by a longshot.
Dom/Sub/Cuck ( siren or those others ) will have a huge influence how the story plays out, otherwise it wouldn't make sense.
Main story is pretty much a Duplo who might get exposed in future updates - this will require the least amount of renders.

But the core is still Ashe trying to deal with her sexuality as a Duplo, which will be largely influenced by the path the player took!

So as i see it most of the LI's are bound to the different paths, you have a little preview in the dream sequence.

Lexi as example seems like a LI only available in the Dom (Siren) path, Natasha on the otherhand is only available in the Sub path.

But saying that, the question is who do you see as a optional romance ?
I mean the Mom or Rachel are they optional or main LI's ?

Storywise i would say Mom and Rachel are actually main LI's so yeah (this won't be the fact if you go the cuck route as i see it ).

So no i don't think optional romance / lewd scenes are really a thing, because we don't really have defined main LI's in the game (beside those i mentioned).

Mhh yeah i guess those romances can be considered optional not only regarding the path you took ( not sure tho cause as i said they will be only available in certain ways).

But i'am still not sure if they will play bigger roles and get a ending in the game eitherway. I have the feeling it's a "DanielsK" game situation, where you have a choice early on in the game to have said ending for those LI's.

Missing out on the "blackmail" (main story) path.
Well i'am just assuming at this point, but the split path choice will have a strong impact how the story ( and optional scenes) concludes i guess.

So we might get more content per path than simply the third of what has been shown as of now. I am looking forward to this update. Hopping Morrigan is not overexerting herself.

I could see some variation like Ashe having her head down or up while talking or remaining mainly silent, but among all those images that need to be rendered, I could see some if not most renders having reusability. I would not compromise and reuse a render that does not quite fit or use renders that don't quite express what is needed, but It would be foolish to not reuse what can be. No need to put them all in the same order or to only change one word per sentence. That would defeat the purpose and significance of the choice of Ashe's behavior going forward.

Only time can tell what will Morrigan Rae have chosen. But like you I quite happily put my faith in her ability to make it work.

Exactly, i actually see it the same way you do ( but i'am also kinda careful what the If's and what not will be in the future) but we can't forsee how the paths will play out regarding the renders at the end of the day - even that's what i did, but after playing so many VN's i'am rather biased.

But hey i don't even know why i'am arguing about it ( beside having a really lovely conversation with you ).. I do love this game !

Are you planning on adding animations? I would love to, but unfortunately not (at least not in the near future). Two reasons: 1) Creating animations takes a lot of time. I can produce a lot of renders in the same time it takes me to create even one second of an animation loop. I want to keep the density of renders and sizable updates going, so adding animations would add a big chunk of development time for each release. 2) My own animations are simply not good enough for my standards yet. I think they would reduce the overall quality of my VN.

I have no idea if you are being sarcastic or not but this game already is on top games in this forum Its 10th place right now on Ren'Py games weighted rating. For me just needs at least 1 more update with similar quality to have enough story/plot/content to enter my favorite game list. Already is tier A in my POV, just a bit more and is a special one, with or without animations.
