Kontralta's post brought a important context about Fiona's sexual attraction. The novelty of a duplo having both a penis and a vagina may have been what awakened her (sexual) interest for Ashe. But i agree that if Fiona is in a relationship with Ashe, someone she cares about, she may end up expanding her sexual preferences and doing thing she never thought before.
I think the issues for those people is that if you let Fiona go down on you you're LOCKED into having vaginal sex with her even on Siren route. I think some like Fiona(hence why they let Fiona go down on Ashe) but want Ashe to top her OR keep things to oral, So you basically HAVE to get fucked by Fiona or she's just completely locked off. That's what people mean by lack of player agency.You can literally choose not to start anything sexual with Fiona in chapter 4 so i find this whole complain about lack of player agency very disingenuous.
Also the developer never promised anyone that the routes would equate with a complete change in both Ashe and her partners sexual preferences. Morrigan even made a giant text explaining what to expect from the routes.
Just to be sure i came back to chapter 4 and checked: if Ashe doesn't have sex with Fiona in chapter 4 then nothing happens between them in chapter 5. That is player agency happening.
So i am not the one using a straw man falacy to complain about something that was the obvious outcome of player's choice simply because said outcome happened a update later.

And while i agree Ashe having a pussy may likely have been what started that sexual attraction to what is unknown/different in a duplo, i would not discount the idea that in the future Fiona may bottom, sometimes, for Ashe. At least for a Siren Ashe.

Yeah I think that's where the main culprit lies. Lot's of people(myself included) thought it would be wayy less linear than it turned out, and have less illusion of choice. Idk if anyone here has played SpaceCorpsXXX but I thought the game would be going down that route in terms of choices and branching paths. It becomes extremely hard to write all the different possibilities and potential branching paths so I can understand why it isn't that way. I ship Ashe and Fiona and like what happened with them, but I can understand people wanting to take it slow with Fio or keep it to oral instead. I really think people thought they would just have more choice. For example I wanted my Ashe to be more of a switch Ashe, but so far it seems like the paths are pretty restrictive in terms of kinks and wont have much cross over if any. Which makes it feel like more of a 3 pathed kinetic novel to some, rather than a story where each individual choice shapes and molds the story and characters, which I just don't think people expected based on what the game had shown.And that is why i disagree with them. i don't wanna sound demanding, not my game the dev doesn't have to listen to anything we say, but, there's already a variation of the fiona scene where you don't pursue her. So I'm not asking for a new scene to replace it, just when you choose not to do anything with fiona it then switches to that already existing scene where you don't have sex.
There's literally scenes in this update that you can skip and straight up tell the character no, so why not have an option for that when it comes to sex with Fiona? I do think in the moment what happens between them makes sense, but not everyone thinks the same and Morrigan has shown they're willing to do this so why not do it with the Ashe Fiona scene? I can't help but feel like Morrigan wants Ashe and Fiona to be "Canon". lol
to be able to be on Fiona path, but say no to having sex with her then it skips to them getting ready for the party. That's my interpretation at least

Obviously dev thinks this scene is important, just like he/she did with the Zoey scene.
Pretty much this. It's clear that basically all LI's will likely be optional and have variants of scenes where they aren't sexually involved with eachother, so it's very easy to just give the players a choice "hey yeah I don't want to/feel like it/not interested" and it just switches over to the scene that already exists for non-sexual reasons.

It wasn't about Ashe. Fiona is not into other futas, that means she is not into be penetrated.
