I'm confused, did something happen? there's been like 20 pages of post over like 3 days, most over the last 24 hours. I feel like either something legitimately bad happened, or there's a troll that needs to be banned, when this happens.

Depends who ask mostly people discussing something they didn't like. I haven't read much of it but the bits and piece I have read just seems more like a discussion and not something toxic or whatever.

yeah well this thread has been interesting (a few times annoying too when a topic that seems dead and resurrect from nowhere like the "rape cop" topic ) to follow since I played it back in May. I was playing another game that had an update with 6 new endings, took me like 3 hours and when I come back to this thread it had 5 new pages to read (mostly diagonally read to avoid spoilers hahaha) and almost all about the same topic Ashe/Fiona debacle . For me is the same really, I usually explore all the content with a few exceptions like NTR thingies and a few more minor things I dislike. I have saves for the 3 paths but probably will only check Siren (main playthrough) and Kitty ones because the cuckquean route seems one in the not to explore category for my taste .

I'm in the same position, gonna wait until the mods update the OP to play the update since I rarely trust other members download links (exception being modders and compressors ofc), probably better to be on the safer side. Prefer that the staff here check if it is "safe" and then update the OP and even that is never 100% foolproof.
Still have some games updates to play anyway and a long queue of new games to try but once EI is up will move in the queue to be the next game to play for sure.

To sum up this civilized debate my friend first started with the Siren route being very unsatisfying for some as they expected Ashe to be more confident instead of a shitty pussy, then after the episode was leaked some more of us played it and others declared that those accusations were exaggerated and that Ashe can't become an Alpha who fucks them all overnight after having a dreamlike dream.

After leaving the previous debate, I evolve to the current one where they complain about not having an option to prevent Fiona from removing her vaginal V from Ashe, the reasons are varied but the predominant one is that they do not want Ashe Alpha to be penetrated, because Ashe Alpha is the penetrator, not the penetrated.

If Deli heard something (or even just suspected) and reported in, it could make the "slut" slur more impactful. And also why she's so shifty lately, trying to work out her feelings for her crush, especially after all but throwing herself at Ashe during the sleepover. I mean, that can't be good for her self-esteem.

Could also be why she was open about knowing Ashe was duplo. She knows and accepts Ashe's secret, so would be a better girlfriend than Zoey, even if the reason she knows is less than savoury

I'm beginning to wonder who's actually paying attention to which characters relate to which kinks. So far, I play the siren route, have avoided all the submissive options, and managed to avoid all the scenes people are complaining about. Especially Ashe getting bottomed by Fiona. As I've said, Fiona's the character that Ashe inevitably will be bottomed by, so I don't see what the big deal is. But then, I assume Ashe will be bottomed by every mono except maybe Lexi, so ... I dunno. And on the other side, have encourage all the relationships with my favourite characters, and despite my reluctance, really enjoyed the update

And the scenes that I didn't have a choice, things actually progressed pretty nicely.

If the dev goes down the route of making everything in every route optional then that will take a lot of development time.

That was the entire point in making sure everyone knew it was splitting into routes and giving everyone enough warning to make sure they were on the route they wanted.

My understanding is that Lexi is the character for those who want FutaxFuta scenes, with Ashe on top. It's written well, and pretty obviously. Fiona has been written well, and clearly not a bottom. Same as RapeCop. Ashe has been written well, and you can play her as top, bottom or cuck, depending on your choices.

Yes, consent can be retracted at any time, just because you said yes to Fiona in ch4, doesn't mean it should hold in ch5. Having more than one off ramp is already in the game I believe, for Kate, but not for Fiona? It's an odd inconsistency. One that doesn't really mess with me, but seems like such an easy fix.

This is also something that people seemed to just not realize, the lack of choice in that specific scenario is so jarring as even other scenarios literally in the same game doesn't have the same issue.
And it is an easy fix, reuse a render or two and you could fix it over a lunch break more or less, which makes it even weirder that it's like this to begin with.

It's just very, very strange.
