Yes you are right but you missed the point (words and semantics are hard that is why i prefer math, statistics and logic) and the developer set that the right terminology for this fictional game universe is female, mono/futa and duplo to each of the correspondent existing "genders" and those are the ones that should be followed to this particular game. It is as simple as that, debating what is the right one or the wrong one leave us nowhere.

Many words and terms started with a meaning and over time they change and evolve, lets just do that too, languages aren't static/dead besides a few like latin from where my own primary language was "born" and evolved, Portuguese btw lol. And this is my last statement about this topic because for sure more will be less hehe.

OK, seems like I'm on the wrong side of the history
I checked the original history (that I didn't do properly initially, my bad), and I think we are fighting for nothing

So far, only two futas have been shown in the story, one who took her own life due to harassment, and another who is a porn star

According to the author proof , futas is a general reference to mono futanaries only as a majority and to identify subset of duplos among them, we should say just duplos

In regards to the inconsistencies, I think you misunderstood the terminology of the sexes there (it is a bit confusing unfortunately). There are three sexes:

• Females: Around 50% of the population. Female genitalia.
• Mono futanari: Around 50% of the population. Male genitalia.
• Duplo futanari: Rare. They have a super high libido and thus have a nasty reputation. They have both male and female genitalia.

When people in this world talk about futas they technically mean both mono and duplo. But since most of them are mono that's what people just assume they are. So: Ashe is a duplo, all the other girls with bulges (Fiona, Cleo, Natasha, etc.) are mono (or at least they claim to be).

It's original setting, so it's strange from my point of view to use your own terminology if we have precise description from author

Probably because there is already an accepted terminology for years before western VN's existed. So is the issue really with western authors 'changing this accepted terminology' or the players?
