Ah yeah of course I remember her, just not her name. It's possible it's her, especially if she thinks Ashe ignored her on purpose when Ashe lost her phone, she would have no issue filming her being a duplo and spreading that information (like was threatened by Miss X). If I'm not mistaken she was also directly behind Bella when she stormed into the bedroom, as if she knew Cleo was having sex there and Ashe was near there.

Since this is a visual novel, there are obviously reasons for this. The author will certainly explain them in future updates. However, you've already dismissed these reasons, whatever they may be (though, I repeat, they don't even have to exist).

You also felt compelled to make it public and express your opinion to others, giving the situation far more weight than it probably warranted. We've already seen a couple of people who don't care (or at least don't hate) people that are duplo's, including at least 2 new ones (as far as we know) in the current episode. I wouldn't be too surprised if in the whole world there are more than enough that don't care about people being duplo, but just that the majority are brainwashed into them being them demonic and overly sexual. I don't believe we've seen any examples so far that disprove the last "issue" however.

We still DO NOT have proper context, we just know Ashe, we know that there are other ones, some do porn, and that's it. Maybe it's something that the dev wanted to be something big and ended up kind of muddled, or maybe there are some cards on the table that the dev is not showing. People are throwing duplo haters anti-haters and groups and analogies to real life groups without knowing what exactly is going on on that world. Maybe duplos are the most gigantic pieces of shit around and Ashe is a exception, maybe is a unfounded hatred, maybe a misunderstanding. In all seriousness though, I was just going over the Topic with it. I felt like Vanessa's Reaction was Well Written, under the Assumption that there's more to the Story.

But my point is that Regardless if her Reasoning for her Reaction is Understandable, it still Butchers her Character from a Moral Standpoint up to this point.

For Example, and I used this in my GPT Discussion; Bob and Joe are 2 Heroes, Beloved by the Readers and Story Characters from their Relatable Personalities, and Lovable Heroism. But one day, Bob's Wife is Murdered by One, Sole, Evil Child in front of him. While the Murder is Told to the Readers, it is not Revealed until Later that it was an Evil Child that did it. Before the Reveal, Bob Murders a School of Children, the same one Joe's Child was attending. Again, the Reason at the time, is Unexplained to the Reader until Joe Confronts Bob. When he does, Bob explains the Evil Child, and his Vendetta against Children because of the Murder of his Wife.

While Bob's Actions might NOW seem Understandable to the Reader, it doesn't change the fact that, Bob, Murdered Innocent Children. It may be Written Well, Explained Why Well, but the Character is Inherently Butchered, and every Achievement, Relatability to the Reader, or Heroic Act, is Overshadowed by an Unrootable Act that he's done.

Character Consistency vs Character Integrity. You could Watch a Reenactment of Hitler's Downfall, and the Heartbreaking way he falls from Grace, but it still doesn't Change the Fact that he Popularized the Term Genocide. It makes SENSES, I UNDERSTAND How he got there and Why, but he's still Monstrous. Bob is still Monstrous. Vanessa, is still Monstrous. All their Victims were Innocent in whatever Traumatic Past they Experienced with People similar to the Innocent they now Prey on.

I dunno, maybe people here just aren't Smart enough to Understand what I'm saying...

To me she seems more of a "I want to go my way" type of person. When it comes to Ashe the hands-on approach that she already does (don't know if it always happens or if it's optional) is the first way to get Ashe to trust her and get Ashe under her control, and the Ms. X/Blackmail persona is just backup to still see her do sexual stuff even if she can't get her in person (or to just have something to do when Ashe isn't around).

I also agree that Delilah is still a suspect (just a lesser one compared to some others), since I thought it was very suspicious that Ashe got a message the same moment as Delilah send one and also another when Ashe was confronting her. Delilah had more than enough time to put a message on timer (it's a option with the Samsung Messenger app that is always installed on the phone and probably is the same with other brands) while Ashe was looking for her.

Currently there are still more than enough suspects with (as far as I could interpret) little to no "evidence" to just bring it down to only one or two.

The cliffhanger at the ending was too sudden imo the revelation of Ashe's secret so soon, but it was also the only way to save this update. Although, since the name of the game has Imminent on it, maybe it's fitting that the big revelation happens so soon.

I personaly abhore one night big updates like this one on story and character driven games like Eruption Imminent (it has happened in other games and they always end being the worst updates of the game). It's a cheap way to pump content and advance the plot without actually advancing it. Without the big ass cliffhanger at the ending we would have been left with a massive collection of sex scenes (amazing sex scenes btw) without any proper character development since no one can convince me that someone can actually realistic change and develop over the course of a freaking night party.

Liked the sex scenes and the quality was good enough, played only Siren for now, maybe I will play the others later, but if they don't have Lexi scenes/interactions, it would feel like somewhat of a loss for me.
Story wise it was an absolute trash update compared to the rest of the game even if the end saved a little bit.
