I really did not have any clue why she got so ballistic. Well really a shitty cliffhanger and I am really curious how this will continue. We will know more in 6 months.

It also gives her license to insist on video deletion, using her influence and money/power as a bludgeon to threaten people with lawsuits because 'she doesn't want to be associated with a Duplo'.
That happened before the start of the game. Ashe had a date with her that completely failed and Ashe felt embarrased because she spilled a drink on Oriana.
It's actually my only VN in this genre because, in my opinion, it's really well written AND from EP 1 onwards I've been inspired by the idea of making Ashe a self-confident young woman who stands up for her own opinion and can also say NO!
I think it's a terrible way to protect someone. Signaling them out and yelling at them to leave.
It's already out in the open and she's already being the center of attention, so Vanessa isn't really signaling her out. Also as mentioned by others before, it's not smart in this universe to publicly affiliate yourself with a duplo, especially not in a family like Vanessa's, so this way she can (in her way) protect her without people knowing she still considers Ashe a friend after finding out she is a duplo.

Also I didn't see Vanessa kicking anyone else out so that is signaling her out to me.
Jessica is not a douplo, the character overview lists her as mono.
What's interesting is that Vanessa's dead mother isn't shown. Could be because she hasn't been named yet. My own theory is that is because she was a Duplo and Morrigan doesn't want to reveal that fact yet, perhaps. The second part of my theory is that she was on the libido suppressant drugs, messing her up, causing cancer, something like that. Vanessa's outburst may be related to the fact that she can't handle her emotions, isn't able to express herself as the secret is still being maintained after her mother's death (meaning she can't grieve properly), and doesn't want to go through it again with another Duplo.
