honestly i think rime has pretty much hidden themselves they aren't even updating it on itch. again no idea why or what reason
He made an animation on Patreon on Halloween, that wasn't two weeks ago. So it's safe to say they're still active.
You know, it's hard for you to believe, but there was a time where he wasn't this exclusive with his uploads.
active? active my ass. infact that's almost smaller compared that what he was doing before he disappeared. there also a period of time were he was inactive even on patreon the fact we are even seeing him at all is possibly because people were leaving the patreon as he became way to fucking inactive with updates or basically anything there is also a bunch of games he's seems to be working on for no reason slowing his progress down by alot.

I'm sorry in only breaking your empathy sooner. Rime is from Japan, where if you're not at least above average and staying late at work, you're pretty much destined to be out of the market. So basically, he already dissapointed their family by having a pretty unorthodox career that isn't even manga. If he's in Tokyo, there's a thing called "internet cafe" rooms where you can work as an NSFW fetish artist while keeping rent down. In terms of income, he's earned more or less $3000 per month. Mind you, salaryman in dead end jobs are working around $2100. And that's assuming we're taking the average wage nationally. Subtract the wealthy men of Japan and add the factor that salarymen are often underpaid for how they're working overtime and you get a picture where Rime is actually doing, at worst, slightly better than a deadbeat office worker.
Sure, his societal respect level in high honor Japan is pretty low for being a NSFW fetish artist. Then again, being an non-salaryman in a country that has yet to recover from the lost generation and an economy that is stagnant, is hardly going to make you stand out that much.
