but i can't progress past recruiting Emily (day5-7). wake next morning, buy her room, then nothing else triggers, and the hotel ladies down't show up at all.
i've met Frank, ive tried many variations w the ladies of the mall, there's a daytime star on the map link that i can't find. anyone know what's going on?

1) buy the gun.
2) Talk to Emily.
3) Buy and give Emily what she asks to get her phone contact.
These are the first three actions you must do at the Mall on the first day.

You're right, there is an error I didn't notice but I've corrected it now. It's not really an error but when you come back from the beach with Kate, (Night time) two hints appear, the star to skip time and the mini icon in Chris' room. You have to go to Chris's room.

Its just a typo in line 12. Go to your game folder for the file game/electronic.rpy and change Fals to False in line 12 if you don't wish to wait for a patch.
