Making it a sandbox RPG is unnecessary, it has good potential for a story without the pointless farming. Also desperately needs a healthy guide system cause it's very easy to get lost without knowing what to do next.

I almost never agree with sandbox in AVNs as a concept, since they usually barely offer any real interactions, enough content and mechanics. But in the context of a survival game it can still fit, and be fine if not horribly grindy and got a good UI.
Personally I'd take some inspiration for the survival and ressources mechanics from titles like the pretty good "Mist".

Yes, I made a lot of conceptual mistakes that I didn’t notice right away during the release of the update. There’s also a bug with the permanent camp — the vine clearing doesn’t work there. As for farming, I agree that it needs a complete rework, so it will be overhauled soon. Regarding everything else, I always read feedback and listen to the audience, so please leave your comments — they’ll help me make the game better.

I like the premise. I don't care for the grind. I think with a bit more content it could be quite nice.
Where do you see the similarities? Because there is a lot of sand in both games? I played the current version to the end and I wasn't reminded of any other game with Eternal Storm.
Confused is the way I would describe your comment.
Setting - only similar because its in a desert. Its an encampment, a tribal one, with other tribes around. Stalker is an enclave near a city, in a dystopian future.
MC - a young fumbling male with amnesia, not a respected veteran, seasoned fighter with full knowledge of many customs and fighting techniques.
LI's - not a numerous and growing harem, already started many years prior. Who all dress very skimpy and slutty, not in full hijab or niquab.
Stalker has no grindy game mechanics either.
game comparison is invalid here. Tell me, do you compare every AVN, simply because of some minor similarity based purely on setting? Must be depressing dude? I guess you would only play one game set in "Big City" then. That must be limiting. Seems nearly a third of them are set there.

Well depends on what the definition of ntr is Desert stalker would fit the ntr genre even though its just you telling your bitch's to whore themselves out. [for the most part] So ntr doesn't always mean ntr. And very few Renpy creators can make traditional NTR experience with one girl let alone a harem of em. But good luck to dev i'll keep an eye on it.
